Toral de los Vados sets the payment for two expropriations in Villadecanes

The Toral de los Vados City Council has set Friday, November 6, 2026, as the date to pay the fair market values (justiprecios) of two estates in polygon 6 affected by the widening and improvement works of the LE-5255 road, the access to Villadecanes. The notice is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of León no. 199, dated October 20, 2026, under reference BOP-LE-2026-199009, and applies to the two expropriated owners.

The announcement is part of the compulsory expropriation file no. 298/2024, processed by the Council to occupy the land necessary for the works. The fair market values have already been established by the Territorial Valuation Commission of León, in accordance with articles 48, 50, 51, and 53 of the Compulsory Expropriation Law and 49, 51, 52, and 55 of its Regulations; what is now being published is solely the designation of the place, date, and time to effect the payment.

The payment will be made at the Town Hall, located at Campo Lugar de la Feria, 7, 24560 Toral de los Vados (León). The announcement is signed by the mayor, Alberto Quiroga Fernández, and the publication is understood to be without prejudice to the individual communication of the day, time, and place of payment to each of the interested parties. The same gazette includes another municipal publication regarding the 2026/11 credit modification (BOP-LE-2026-199010), which includes an allocation of 3,707.08 euros for “Land Expropriation.”

Two plots and two holders

The notice includes the interested parties and the assets and rights listed below, both located within the district of Villadecanes:

• Francisco Martínez Amigo: polygon 6, plot 1071, cadastral reference 24210A006010710000JH; summoned at 10:00 AM.
• Jorge Valle Faba: polygon 6, plot 1059, cadastral reference 24210A006010590000JI; summoned at 10:30 AM.

Both appearances will take place on November 6, 2026, at the Town Hall of Toral de los Vados, with a half-hour interval between them to facilitate the process.

Appearance and required documentation

Interested parties must prove their identity and their right to the land at the time of payment. The requirements are:

• Appear in person or through a representative with a duly authorized power of attorney.
• Carry an identity document and documentation proving ownership.
• If payment via bank transfer is requested, provide the City Council with the account ownership certificate so that the payment can be completed and verified before occupation.

If the interested party does not appear, refuses to receive the payment, or if another legal cause arises that prevents the payment from being made, the amount will be deposited in the legally prescribed manner.

Occupation records and destination of the land

Once payment has been made or, where applicable, the deposit has been credited, the corresponding occupation records shall be subsequently drawn up. The expropriated assets will then be at the disposal of the City Council as the beneficiary entity and, subsequently, at the disposal of the Diputación de León.

This procedure closes the payment phase of the fair market values for these two plots of polygon 6, a preliminary step to the effective occupation of the land to execute the widening and improvement of the access to Villadecanes via the LE-5255. For the two affected owners, the appointment on November 6 is the final pending administrative step: anyone who does not attend on that day will lose the possibility of collecting voluntarily, and the amount will be deposited, with the resulting delay in the receipt of the compensation.
