Tomiño abre expediente para investigar a titularidade do camiño FOR-065 en Forcadela

The Tomiño City Council has agreed to initiate an investigation file to determine the ownership of the path FOR-065, located in A Ponte, in the parish of Forcadela. The agreement was adopted in the ordinary plenary session of September 24, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) no. 199, of October 15, 2026, opening a one-month period for public information.

The announcement, signed by Mayor Sandra González Álvarez, is processed under file no. 3081/2026 and falls within the municipal area of Urban Planning and Heritage. The investigation starts from the presumption that the road belongs to the Council, which requires documentary verification of its public nature before formalizing ownership.

According to the official text, path FOR-065 appears on map no. 7.16 of the PXOM (General Urban Planning Plan) inventoried as municipal and incorporated into the planning in its specific modification no. 2. Furthermore, it appears identified as a public path in the 1967/68 Cadastre in A Ponte, Forcadela.

What is being investigated and why

The resolution specifies that the investigation is not limited to confirming ownership, but must check a possible discrepancy between three elements:

  • The traditional road existing on the ground.
  • The road recorded in the Paths Inventory with reference FOR-65.
  • The layout incorporated into the PXOM in specific modification no. 2.

If the three do not coincide, the file must clarify which layout effectively has a public character and what its delimitation is.

One-month period for objections

The Council opens a public information process for a period of one month, counted from the 16th day following the publication of the announcement in the BOPPO. During this period, affected persons may submit in writing any objections they deem appropriate to the Corporation, accompanying all documents on which they base their arguments.

  • Deadline: one month from the 16th day after publication.
  • Form: written objections to the municipal Corporation.
  • Documentation: documents supporting each objection must be provided.
  • Identifiable affected parties: the period is counted from personal notification.

Another file opened in the same plenary

In the same plenary session of September 24, 2026, the Tomiño City Council agreed to initiate a second ownership investigation file, no. 2879/2026, referring to the path with inventory reference AMO-121, located in Carregal de Arriba – Amorín, with cadastral references 36054A076001040000EF and 36054A076001010000EP. This announcement is likewise published in BOPPO no. 199 of October 15, 2026, with the same one-month public information period.

The resolution directly affects owners and neighbors of the parishes of Forcadela and Amorín, who see the City Council reviewing the ownership of roads that until now were considered public. Clarifying the legal nature of these paths is decisive for their maintenance, their neighborhood use, and any future urban planning action in the area.
