Tomelloso publishes the admitted candidates for three Local Police Officer positions

The Tomelloso City Council has approved the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants in the call for the provision, through the internal promotion system, of three Officer positions within the Local Police Corps. The resolution was issued by the Mayor’s Office on October 1, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real number 190, corresponding to Friday, October 2, 2026, under announcement number 3168.

The called positions belong to the Basic Scale of Special Administration and are vacant within the staff of this City Council. The announcement is issued in compliance with the provisions of the fourth clause of the call, which requires the publication of the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants before proceeding with the selection process. Four admitted applicants

The first resolution of the announcement approves the provisional list of admitted applicants, consisting of four people:

• Félix Cobo Rosell
• José Antonio Gómez-Choco Villarreal
• Óscar Díaz Dapica
• Inocencio José Villalta Duro

These four applicants may continue in the internal promotion selection process, provided that the provisional list is not altered by the corrections submitted within the open period.

Two excluded and their reasons

The same resolution lists two applicants who have been provisionally excluded, each with the coded reason appearing in the announcement:

• Miguel Ángel García Ballesteros Ortiz, excluded for reason A.
• Mario Villena González, excluded for reason B.

The reasons for exclusion are detailed in the announcement itself:

• Reason A: failure to comply with the requirement demanded in the second clause, section c), of those governing the call.
• Reason B: failure to provide driving licenses of class B and/or class A or A2.

Ten business days to correct

Provisionally excluded applicants, as well as those who appear neither on the list of admitted nor on the list of excluded, have a period of ten business days starting from the day following the publication of the resolution to correct the defects that led to their exclusion or their lack of express inclusion. Those who do not correct these defects within the specified period, justifying their right to be admitted, will be definitively excluded from the selection process.

Publication on the notice board and municipal website

The second resolution orders the publication of this provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real, on the notice board, and on the website of the Tomelloso City Council. The announcement appears signed in Tomelloso on October 1, 2026, by the Mayor.

The publication opens the correction period for the two excluded applicants and confirms the continuity of the four admitted candidates in a process reserved for the municipality’s police staff. For those interested, the period of ten business days is the only window to correct the documentation and avoid definitive exclusion from the three Officer positions of the Local Police Force of Tomelloso.
