Toledo publishes sanctions for health and animal welfare

Por FactBox Admin

The Provincial Delegation of Agriculture, Livestock, and Rural Development of Toledo has published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha (DOCM) number 161, dated August 24, 2026, three notifications of resolutions issued in sanctioning proceedings for infractions regarding animal health and welfare. As personal notification could not be carried out at the last known address of the interested parties, the administration has agreed to publicize the resolutions via official announcement.

The three notifications, signed on August 17, 2026, by the provincial delegate Elena Martín Bravo, are published in section III (Other provisions and acts) of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Rural Development, on pages 30716 to 30718 of the bulletin.

The publication is carried out in accordance with articles 44 and 46 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations (BOE No. 236, of October 2, 2015). When personal notification proves unsuccessful, the regulation allows the content of the resolution to be announced in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha and in the Official State Gazette, for notification purposes.

Interested parties may appear at the Provincial Delegation of Agriculture, Livestock, and Rural Development in Toledo to learn the full content of the resolution, within a period of 10 business days starting from the day following the publication, during the hours of 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The three sanctioning proceedings

The resolutions affect three different proceedings, two for animal health infractions and one for animal welfare:

  • Proceeding 45SA220151 (reference 2026/6162), for an infraction regarding animal health, interested party with DNI 06246328B, residing in Madrid.
  • Proceeding 45BA250228 (reference 2026/6163), for an infraction regarding animal welfare, interested party with DNI 49250955C, residing in El Álamo (Madrid).
  • Proceeding 45AA240139 (reference 2026/6164), for an infraction regarding animal health, interested party with DNI 04208608E, residing in Talavera de la Reina (Toledo).

In all three cases, the content of the resolution corresponds to a sanctioning procedure, and the place of appearance is the Toledo provincial delegation itself.

Relevance for those affected

Publication by public notice has full notification effects; therefore, the expiration of the appearance period without the interested parties attending the delegation does not suspend the processing of the proceedings. Those affected must appear within 10 business days to learn the full content of the resolutions and, if applicable, exercise the appeals they deem appropriate.
