Toledo publishes the final list for the social worker talent pool

The Toledo City Council has approved the final list of admitted and excluded applicants, the composition of the qualifying board, and the date of the first test of the selection process for the establishment of a pool of SOCIAL WORKERS (Subgroup A2/Professional Group II). The decision is formalized through Decree No. 8914, dated September 28, 2026, from the Department of Interior and Personnel, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Toledo No. 190, dated October 5, 2026. The first test will be held on October 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Regional Administration School.

The process stems from Resolution No. 7554, dated August 14, 2026, from the Department of Interior and Personnel, which called for the selection process considering the establishment of the pool for the temporary coverage of needs in Social Worker positions to be urgent and cannot be postponed. This authority is exercised by delegation of the agreement of the Local Government Board dated June 26, 2023.

Following the application period, Decree No. 8115, dated September 4, 2026, published the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants and opened a period of five business days to correct defects. Once that procedure was completed, Base 4.3 of the call requires the publication of the final list along with the board and the date of the first exercise.

Permanent members:

• Secretary: José Bernardo García Gómez.
• Members: Lorena Sánchez González, María Cruz Bernardo Sierra, and Mónica Galán Rueda.

Substitute members:

• President: María Ángeles Gil Arias.
• Secretary: Carlos Díaz García.
• Members: Josefa Ramírez Sánchez, Nazaret Vázquez García, and Lorena Bermúdez Fernández.

The board is unique, composed of five permanent members and their substitutes, and is headquartered at the City Hall of the Toledo City Council.

First test: October 15 at the Regional Administration School

• Date and time: October 15, 2026, at 10:00 hours.
• Location: Regional School of Administration, calle Río Cabriel, s/n.
• Applicants must present themselves with an identification document.
• Selection is carried out by competitive examination, with a questionnaire of 50 questions plus five reserve questions, four alternative answers, and a maximum of 45 minutes.
• The test is graded from 0 to 10 points and requires a minimum of 5 points; errors are penalized using the formula: correct answers minus errors divided by three.
• Examination fees are 18.05 euros, with an exemption for those who prove unemployed status as of the date of publication of the call.

The announcement is signed by the Secretary General of Government, Fernando Payo Sánchez-Garrido, in Toledo, on September 28, 2026.

The publication closes the admission phase and starts the countdown for the applicants: ten calendar days from the dissemination of the decree, the sole exercise of the competitive examination will be held, which will determine the order of the pool that will cover the temporary needs for social workers in the Toledo City Council. The total absence of definitive exclusions clears the way for the 69 candidates and concentrates the result on a single eliminatory test.
