The Provincial Consortium for Fire Extinction and Rescue of Toledo (CPEIS) has approved the final list of applicants admitted and excluded from the selection process to fill 17 firefighter-driver positions via open competition. This is established by Decree No. 209/2026, signed by the president of the Consortium, Juan Carlos Sánchez Trujillo, and published in the Official Gazette of the province of Toledo number 166, dated September 1, 2026 (pages 27 to 33).
The call for these positions, included in the Public Employment Offer for the year 2026, was published in the BOP of Toledo No. 110, dated June 15, 2026, and the offer supporting them appeared in the BOP No. 49, dated March 13, 2026. Following the publication of the provisional list in the BOP No. 154, dated August 14, 2026, a period of ten business days was opened to correct defects, and once the submitted allegations were resolved, the CPEIS Personnel Area issued a favorable proposal report that led to this final resolution.
Selection process figures
The final list leaves a total of 239 admitted applicants and 15 excluded for the 17 called positions, reflecting a high level of participation in a highly anticipated process in the province.
- 239 admitted, with their corresponding DNI/NIE.
- 15 excluded, each with the cause of exclusion indicated.

Tribunal and first exercise
The resolution also designates the qualifying tribunal, which will be presided over by David Bernabé Machuca, with Miguel Ángel Muelas Muñoz as substitute. Serving as titular members are Silvia José García León, Virginia Elena Pérez Málaga, and Alejandro Cedena Toledano, and as titular secretary José Ramón Gómez Ruano.
The first exercise, the theoretical test, will be held on September 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Infantry Academy of Toledo (Cta. San Servando s/n, 45071 Toledo). Applicants must identify themselves with their DNI or equivalent document, in accordance with clause 7.2 of the general bases.
Relevance of the process
This call represents one of the largest public employment offers from the CPEIS of Toledo in recent years, in a body essential for the security of the province. The resolution exhausts the administrative route, although interested parties may file an appeal for reversal within one month or a contentious-administrative appeal within two months, according to Law 39/2015 and Law 7/1985.
