Toledo extends voluntary payment of taxes until November 3

The Provincial Autonomous Body for Tax Management of Toledo has rectified the provincial 2026 Tax Calendar and extends until November 3 the voluntary payment period for the main municipal taxes. The correction, signed in Toledo on August 10, is published in the Official Bulletin of the Province of Toledo number 153, of August 13, 2026, with announcement number I-3683 and verification code 2026.00003683.
The Provincial Council of Toledo warns of an error detected in the publication of the 2026 Tax Calendar, published in the BOP of Toledo number 225, of November 24, 2025. On pages 1 and 2, first and second paragraphs, it was indicated that the voluntary payment period ran from September 1 to November 2, 2026; the corrected text sets its end on November 3, 2026, both inclusive.
The rectification affects all taxpayers in the province whose taxes are managed by the body dependent on the Provincial Council, both those who pay in the voluntary period and those who have their receipts domiciled.
Taxes included in the correction
The new calendar maintains the start of the period on September 1, 2026 and moves its closing to November 3, with direct debit of domiciled receipts on October 21, 2026. The following are affected by the extension:
- Tax on Economic Activities (IAE).
- Waste collection fee, in its second semester of 2026 and fiscal year 2026.
- Real estate property fees, second semester of 2026 and fiscal year 2026.
- Fees and public prices.
- Water supply fee and other associated concepts, in its first semester of 2026.
- Irrigation levies, as public-law income of the irrigation communities.
Deadlines that remain unchanged
The rectification does not alter the rest of the calendar. The first semester 2026 periods of the IAE, the waste collection fee and the real estate property fees, open from May 1 to July 6, remain closed on their original dates, and the third quarter of the water fee keeps its period from November 1 to December 31, 2026. The direct debit date for domiciled receipts corresponding to the extended period remains October 21, 2026.

The document is electronically signed by Dª Mª del Carmen Sánchez la Ossa, acting deputy secretary of the body, acting in accordance with Decree No. 2,391/2024, of December 9, 2024, correcting the material error of the decree appointing the deputy secretary. The announcement, dated in Toledo on August 10, 2026, can be verified on the electronic headquarters of the bulletin using the code 2026.00003683.
The extension of the voluntary period gives taxpayers additional leeway to regularize their receipts without surcharges and maintains the provision for direct debit on October 21. As this is an official rectification, the November 3 date prevails over the initially published one, so it should be taken into account before planning payments from September to November.
