Tinieblas de la Sierra approves its final 2026 budget

The City Council of Tinieblas de la Sierra has definitively approved its general budget for the 2026 fiscal year, for a total amount of 137,860.00 euros, as no claims were filed during the public exhibition period. The agreement, signed by the mayor Juan Manuel García Pérez on July 17, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos, number 160, dated August 25, 2026 (official reference: BOPBUR-2026-03623).
The approval is processed in accordance with Article 169 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, which approves the revised text of the Law regulating Local Treasuries, and Article 20 of Royal Decree 500/1990, of April 20. The budget includes the general budget of the Entity, the execution bases, and the personnel staff.
Expenditure Statement
The real investments chapter concentrates the largest item of the fiscal year, with 84,160.00 euros, more than half of the total budgeted. The remainder of the expenditure is divided between current expenses and personnel.
- Chapter 1 (personnel expenses): 18,800.00 euros
- Chapter 2 (current goods and services): 31,000.00 euros
- Chapter 3 (financial expenses): 100.00 euros
- Chapter 4 (current transfers): 3,800.00 euros
- Chapter 6 (real investments): 84,160.00 euros
Revenue Statement
On the revenue side, capital transfers constitute the main source of financing, with 67,940.00 euros, followed by patrimonial income, which contributes 34,600.00 euros.

- Chapter 2 (indirect taxes): 500.00 euros
- Chapter 3 (fees and other income): 4,400.00 euros
- Chapter 4 (current transfers): 18,600.00 euros
- Chapter 5 (patrimonial income): 34,600.00 euros
- Chapter 7 (capital transfers): 67,940.00 euros
Personnel Staff
The budget also establishes the municipality’s staff for the fiscal year, consisting of two roles:
- Secretary-auditor, under a grouping regime
- Temporary employee
A contentious-administrative appeal may be filed directly against the definitive approval of the budget in the form and within the time limits established by current regulations, as provided for in Article 171 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5.
The publication of the budget in the official gazette provides legal certainty to the economic management of the municipality and allows the City Council to execute its investments and contract the expenditure planned for the fiscal year, with a significant weight of real investment in the overall municipal accounts.
