Teverga approves a credit modification of 453,193.78 euros as final

The Teverga City Council has made final the credit modification no. 1/2026 of its current Budget, for a total amount of 453,193.78 euros, after no claims were filed during the public exhibition period. The agreement had been adopted by the municipal Plenary in an extraordinary session on August 13, 2026, and is now published in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias (BOPA) no. 187, dated September 28, 2026, with the official reference 2026-07791.

The file was processed under the modalities of extraordinary credit and credit supplement, in accordance with the consolidated text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5. The initial approval had been published in BOPA no. 168, dated August 31, 2026 (reference 2026-07233), which opened a fifteen-business-day public information period during which the file could be examined at the municipal Secretariat-Intervention and on the council’s electronic headquarters.

As no claims were registered, the initial agreement was automatically elevated to final without the need for a new plenary agreement, as provided for in article 169.3, by referral of article 177.2, of the aforementioned consolidated text. The announcement is signed in San Martín de Teverga on September 21, 2026, by the Mayor-President.

Real investments, the bulk of the expenditure

The expenditure status of the modification is divided among three chapters, with a clear predominance of investment:

• Chapter 2, expenditure on current goods and services: 77,923.00 euros.
• Chapter 4, current transfers: 11,000.00 euros.
• Chapter 6, real investments: 364,270.78 euros.
• Total expenditure: 453,193.78 euros.

Real investments therefore absorb slightly more than eighty percent of the total amount of the budgetary operation.

Financing with surplus, cancellations, and higher revenues

The modification is financed by three sources of resources, which add up to exactly the same figure as the expenditures:

• Treasury surplus for general expenses (RTGG): 200,145.00 euros.
• Cancellations due to the annulment of credits from chapter 2: 108,000.00 euros.
• Higher revenues collected: 145,048.78 euros.
• Total income: 453,193.78 euros.

Two-month period to appeal

The agreement concludes the administrative process; therefore, eligible individuals and entities may directly file a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Asturias. The deadline is two months starting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the BOPA, in accordance with Article 171.1 of the consolidated text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries and Law 29/1998, of July 13, regulating the Contentious-Administrative Jurisdiction. This is without prejudice to any other appeal deemed appropriate.

The operation is closed without modifications to the initial project, as the public information process did not generate any objections. For the residents of the council, the relevant data is the primary destination of the funds: 364,270.78 euros in real investments, added to 77,923.00 euros in current expenditure and 11,000.00 euros in transfers, with financing that combines accumulated savings, credit adjustments, and higher-than-expected revenue.
