Teulada Moraira distributes 219,828 euros in local commerce vouchers

The Teulada City Council will allocate up to 219,828.00 euros for consumption vouchers redeemable in shops and other establishments within the municipality. On October 29, 2026, the Local Government Board (JGL) approved the regulatory bases and the call for the Teulada Moraira Commerce Vouchers 2026, the summary of which was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante (BOP) no. 211, dated November 5, 2026, in section III of Local Administration, with the identification BDNS 939388.

The publication complies with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17, which requires the publication of the summary of the calls and the submission of the full text to the National Subsidies Database (BDNS). The agreement authorizes the expenditure and sets the distribution rules among the citizens, while the full text of the bases remains available to interested parties on the municipal portal indicated in the summary itself, http://www.teuladamoraira.com.es, and in file 939388 of infosubvenciones.es.

Up to 219,828 euros to boost consumption in the municipality

The declared objective of the call is “to incentivize consumption by citizens in shops and other establishments of different sectors in the municipality,” as stated in the second point of the summary signed by the mayor, Vicente Raúl Llobell Signes, in Teulada on October 29, 2026.

The economic and administrative keys of the agreement are as follows:

• Maximum allocation: 219,828.00 euros.
• Beneficiaries: natural persons who comply with the provisions established in the 5th base of the call.
• Objective: to incentivize consumption in shops and other establishments of various sectors within the municipal district.
• Regulatory bases: published on the municipal website teuladamoraira.com.es.
• Processing: summary published in accordance with Law 38/2003 and registered in the BDNS (identifier 939388).

The distribution is therefore structured as a public call for subsidies on a competitive basis, not as direct aid, meaning that citizens must submit their application within the fixed deadline and prove compliance with the requirements of the 5th base, which are not detailed in the summary and must be consulted in the full text.

From November 11 to 30, twenty days to apply for the vouchers

The fifth point of the summary sets the calendar: the application period will be from November 11 to November 30, 2026, both inclusive. These are twenty calendar days during which interested residents must formalize their request through the channels established by the bases, although the summary published in the BOP does not detail the unit amount of each voucher nor the percentage of discount or co-payment associated with each purchase.

The call for applications arrives as local commerce in Teulada and Moraira faces the final stretch of the year, a period in which city councils typically concentrate these types of campaigns to reactivate shopping in the municipality’s establishments. The allocation of 219,828 euros is the maximum amount committed by the City Council.

The same JGL agreement activated the Entrepreneur Voucher

The session of the Local Government Board on October 29, 2026, did not only approve the commerce vouchers. BOP no. 210, dated November 4, 2026, publishes another extract from the same body, in this case for the guidelines of the subsidies intended to promote entrepreneurial activity in Teulada through the Entrepreneur Voucher program, with identifier BDNS 939213 and a maximum allocation of 1,500.00 euros.

This second line of aid, also signed by Vicente Raúl Llobell Signes, is aimed at natural persons, legal entities, or communities of assets that start their activity in an establishment located in the municipality, with a deadline of ten business days from the day following the publication of the extract. Both calls share the same regulatory framework and the same official publicity channel.

For the residents of Teulada and Moraira, the voucher call represents a direct injection of purchasing power into small local businesses at a key moment of the season, while for the participating establishments, it represents an incentive to attract clientele from within the municipality. The deadline, however, is tight: those wishing to benefit from the Teulada Moraira Commerce Vouchers 2026 must gather the documentation and submit the application between November 11 and 30.
