Terrassa opens the repair of the Vallparadís wall for public consultation
Por FactBox Admin

The Terrassa City Council has initially approved the project for the repair of the access wall to Vallparadís via Urquinaona Street, an action valued at 206,975.09 euros including VAT and with a planned execution period of 3.5 months. The decision is contained in Decree no. 28543/2026, dated October 13, 2026, signed by the Deputy Mayor of the Area of General Services and Open Government, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on October 21, 2026 (reference CVE 202610153767). The document is open for public information for 30 days and, if no objections are presented, it will be definitively approved.
The project, drafted on September 28, 2026, by the company BAMMP Arquitectes i Associats, SLP, affects one of the main accesses to Vallparadís park from Urquinaona Street, a common passage area for local residents. The processed file is APMV/2026/47, managed by the Contracting Service, Works Contracting Section, of the Terrassa City Council.
Project Figures
The budget is broken down into three magnitudes, all collected in the official edict:
- Material execution budget: 143,742.68 euros.
- Execution budget by contract without VAT: 171,053.79 euros.
- Budget including VAT: 206,975.09 euros.
- Execution period for the works: 3.5 months.
The difference between the material budget and the contract budget corresponds to the indirect costs and industrial profits usual in works contracting, while the amount including VAT is the reference figure for the general public.
Thirty days to present objections
The public information period is 30 days and is calculated from the last publication of the edict. This announcement will be inserted in three simultaneous channels:
- The Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona.
- The local press.
- The City Council notice board (e-tauler).
The full document can be consulted at the municipal electronic office, in the works projects space: https://seuelectronica.terrassa.cat/web/seu/projectes-d-obres. The edict warns that, if no objections are presented within the deadline, the initial approval will automatically become definitive, without the need for a new express pronouncement.
Who signs and how it is processed
The edict is signed by Estrella Rodriguez Rico, head of the Contracting Service, by delegation of signature from the General Secretary dated May 8, 2025. The resolution is dated Terrassa, October 14, 2026, and is published with the reference CVE 202610153767 on page 1/1 of the provincial gazette.
The action is part of the ordinary procedure for the approval of municipal works projects, which requires prior public exhibition before tendering. Once the project is definitively approved, the City Council will be able to proceed with the contracting of the corresponding works.
Impact for residents and bidders
The news is of dual interest. For the residents and users of Vallparadís, the action affects an access wall in a highly frequented area, and the objections period is the only formal way to record objections before the work is finalized. For construction companies, the project opens the door to a municipal tender of over 200,000 euros with a short execution period of only three and a half months, a factor that conditions the planning of the work and the necessary machinery.
