Telde publishes the final list for 15 Police Officer positions

The M.I. City Council of Telde, through its Department of Human Resources, has approved the final list of admitted and excluded candidates for the provision of fifteen (15) officer positions within the Local Police force via the internal promotion track. The resolution, adopted by Decree 2026-9012 on August 26, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas, number 104, Monday, August 31, 2026, on page 15253.

The selection process is conducted through a competitive examination (concurso-oposición) system and affects positions belonging to the special administration, special services sub-scale, group C, subgroup C1. The resolution, signed by the Councilor for Government Human Resources, Carmen Batista Hernández, in Telde on August 27, 2026, concludes the admission phase and clears the way for the holding of the tests.

The final list includes a total of eleven (11) admitted candidates, who may participate in the selection tests:

Excluded Candidates and Reason

The resolution also establishes the list of eleven (11) excluded candidates, all for the same reason, identified as number 2 and referring to the second base, section g), of the call:

  • Álvaro del Cristo Hernández García
  • David Hernández González
  • Ramón Javier Martel Santana

The reason for exclusion requires that access via internal promotion be carried out from the position of police officer, with a minimum of two years of seniority in the position and active service in the Telde Local Police force, counting for these purposes the time of practice prior to appointment as a career civil servant.

Qualifying Tribunal

The resolution also makes public the designation of the titular and substitute members of the qualifying tribunal, which will be chaired by Antonio Adrián Alonso Suárez, with Félix Ramos González as substitute chair. The secretariat is held by Emilio Ascanio Betancor, with Elena María Moreno Rodríguez as substitute, and the tribunal is completed by four titular members and their respective substitutes, in addition to one collaborator.

The publication of this final list is key for the applicants, as it determines who is eligible to participate in the internal promotion process and establishes the composition of the body that will evaluate the tests. Those admitted must stay tuned for upcoming communications from the Telde City Council, which will be disseminated through the Notice Board and the municipal website, to learn the date and location of the exercises.
