Telde tenders twelve food trucks for the 2026 San Gregorio festivities
Por FactBox Admin

The Telde City Council has called for the procedure to grant twelve public domain authorizations for the installation of food trucks in the Ramblas Pedro Lezcano on the occasion of the San Gregorio 2026 patron saint festivities. The call is formalized through Decree 2026-10044, dated September 28, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas number 118, Friday, October 2, 2026, in announcement 3.173 (reference 2006134). Interested operators have thirty calendar days to submit their proposals.
A competitive procedure over public domain
The announcement is issued under Article 96.3 of the LPAP, a provision invoked “for the purpose of greater dissemination” of these types of calls regarding public domain assets. The body promoting the file is the M.I. City Council of Telde, and the announcement is signed by its mayor-president, Juan Antonio Peña Medina, in Telde on September 30, 2026.
The essential details of the call are as follows:
- Object: twelve public domain authorizations for the installation of food trucks.
- Location: Ramblas Pedro Lezcano, in the municipality of Telde.
- Reason: San Gregorio 2026 patron saint festivities.
- Approval instrument: Decree 2026-10044, dated September 28, 2026.
- Publication: Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas number 118, October 2, 2026, pages 16979-16980.
- Announcement reference: 2006134 (announcement 3.173).
Thirty calendar days to submit offers
The deadline for submitting proposals is thirty (30) calendar days, counted from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas. The count therefore begins on October 3, 2026, meaning the deadline extends until early November if following the calendar days rather than business days.
The call is resolved through a competitive process among applicants who prove compliance with the conditions set forth in the regulatory bases, which accompany the announcement and are not reproduced in the text published in the gazette.
Bases and municipal electronic office
The announcement and the regulatory bases of the procedure will be available at the electronic office https://www.telde.es of the Telde City Council “for the purpose of general knowledge.” It is on this platform where interested parties must consult the participation requirements, the evaluation criteria, and the required documentation, as the gazette announcement is limited to making the call and setting the deadline.
Background: the gastronomic stalls of the municipal market
This is not the first time that the Telde City Council has used this instrument to regulate hospitality activity in public spaces. Decree 8664/2026, of August 17, 2026, called for four state-owned domain authorizations through a competitive process for the occupation of four newly created gastronomic stalls in the Telde municipal market, an announcement published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas on August 26, 2026.
The new call triples the number of authorizations compared to that precedent and moves the setting from the municipal market to the public highway, in a location with high foot traffic during the patron saint festivities.
The call opens an opportunity for hoteliers, freelancers, and small catering companies wishing to operate during San Gregorio 2026 in a public domain space with a high concentration of people. The period of thirty calendar days is, however, the only available window: anyone who does not submit their proposal within that period will be excluded from the procedure, and the specific operating conditions depend on guidelines that can only be consulted at the municipal electronic office.
