Telde announces the exam for fifteen Local Police officer positions

The Qualifying Tribunal of the Telde City Council has called for the first exercise of the selection process for the provision of fifteen (15) Officer positions within the Local Police Force, which will be held on September 29, 2026, at 09:00 hours in the multipurpose room of the Cubillo Building. This has been published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas, number 109, dated September 11, 2026, via the announcement with reference 1.852.633.

The tribunal, constituted in a session held on September 7, 2026, also agreed upon the distribution of the program topics among its members for the drafting of the questions that will make up the multiple-choice exam questionnaire, as well as the scheduling of the date for the first test.

An internal promotion process

The call is part of the selection process to fill fifteen (15) Officer positions within the Local Police Force, belonging to the special administration, special services sub-scale, Group C, Subgroup C1, of the Telde City Council, through the internal promotion track and via the competition-examination system.

The process began with the approval of the final list of admitted and excluded candidates through Decree 2026-9012, dated August 26, 2026, from the Department of Human Resources, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas number 104, dated August 31, 2026. According to that list, the process has eleven (11) admitted applicants and six (6) excluded.

Development of the first exercise

The exam will consist of a knowledge test developed by the tribunal based on the program topics distributed among its members. Admitted persons must attend the single call that will begin at 09:00 hours on the designated day.

• Identification: applicants must attend with their National Identity Document or, where applicable, an equivalent document, for identification by the members of the tribunal.
