TELCOR grants telecommunications license to Canal Vos TV for ten years

The Nicaraguan Institute of Telecommunications and Posts (TELCOR) granted the company Estudios Corporativos, Sociedad Anónima, which will operate under the trade name Canal Vos TV, license number LIC-2026-SCA-086 for the provision of audiovisual communication services. The authorization was formalized through Administrative Resolution Number 094-2026, dated August 11, 2026, and was published in La Gaceta, Official Gazette, No. 167, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, page 9050.
The license enables the company to produce, aggregate, and supply television content to third parties throughout the national territory, with a validity of ten years starting from its publication in the official gazette. The resolution was signed by the General Director of TELCOR, Nahima Janett Díaz Flores, in the city of Managua, on the thirteenth day of August 2026.
Regulatory Framework
The granting is based on Article 30 of Law No. 1223, “Convergent Telecommunications Law,” and Article 20 of Administrative Agreement No. 002-2025, “Regulations for Enabling Titles.” With this decision, TELCOR, in its capacity as the regulatory authority, incorporates a new audiovisual operator into the country’s media sector.
