TECNIMEDE registers two new pharmaceutical brands ROVALENZE and ROFEMAX

The company TECNIMEDE España-Industria Farmacéutica, S.A. has applied for the registration of two new trademarks, ROVALENZE and ROFEMAX, intended for pharmaceutical products and dietary supplements. The applications, filed on July 9, 2026, were published in the Official Bulletin of Industrial Property (BOPI) on September 8, 2026, in the trademarks section.

Both applications are being processed by the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM), the public body responsible for the registration of industrial property in Spain. The company, with its registered office at Avenida de Bruselas 13, 3º D, Edificio América, in the Arroyo de la Vega industrial estate, in Alcobendas (Madrid), is acting through the industrial property agent Isabel Carvajal y Urquijo, with offices at Calle Suero de Quiñones 34-36 in Madrid.

Two applications for class 05

The trademarks ROVALENZE and ROFEMAX fall under class 05 of the Nice Classification, which covers pharmaceutical products, sanitary and veterinary preparations, hygienic and sanitary products for medical use, dietary substances for medical and veterinary use, dietary foods, baby foods, and dietary supplements for humans and animals.

The registration data for each application are as follows:

• ROVALENZE: file M 4391105, filed on July 9, 2026, published on page 82 of the BOPI (reference CVE-BOPI-T1-20260908-00000082).
• ROFEMAX: file M 4391106, filed on July 9, 2026, published on page 83 of the BOPI (reference CVE-BOPI-T1-20260908-00000083).

A broad move in the pharmaceutical sector

The filing of ROVALENZE and ROFEMAX is not an isolated case. In the same issue of the bulletin, TECNIMEDE España has simultaneously applied for other trademarks in the same class 05, including EZELPIX (file M 4391091), FILTAX (M 4391094), NIVOSAR (M 4391098) and RIXAVARTE (M 4391102), all also filed on July 9, 2026.

This set of applications reflects a strategy to expand the company’s trademark portfolio in the field of pharmaceutical products and dietary supplements, a highly competitive segment in the Spanish market.

Relevance for the health sector

The publication in the BOPI opens the legal period for third parties to file oppositions or observations against these trademark applications, a standard procedure in the industrial property registration process. Final granting will depend on the absence of prior identical or similar trademarks that could create a risk of confusion in the market.
