Tarragona approves the new pump for the Barcelona Street pumping station

The Tarragona City Council has definitively approved the project for the assembly and installation of a new pump and the relocation of the MCC (Motor Control Center) at the WWPS (Wastewater Pumping Station) on Barcelona Street, a sanitation infrastructure action for the city. The resolution, signed by the Deputy Mayor and Coordinator of the Area of Finance, Internal Services, and Technology on August 24, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona on September 14, 2026 (official reference CVE 2026-08323, p. 1-1).

The work, processed under file 2026/8-G632 by the Contracting, Purchasing, and Grants Service, has a budget of €414,755.45 plus €87,098.64 in 21% VAT, totaling an amount of €501,854.09.
