Tamarite de Litera opens public information regarding Ganavisa's environmental license

The Tamarite de Litera City Council has opened the public information process for the environmental license application for classified activities promoted by GANAVISA, S.A. for the relocation and unification of two fattening cattle farms with a capacity of 180 places. The initiation of the proceedings was approved by the resolution of the Mayor’s Office of Tamarite de Litera no. 2026-1370, dated October 2, 2026. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca no. 192, dated October 7, 2026, with official reference BOPH-2026-192018.

The legal framework of the process

The opening of the exhibition period is carried out in compliance with Article 77.3 of Law 11/2014, of December 4, on Environmental Prevention and Protection of Aragon. The body promoting the proceedings is the Mayor’s Office of Tamarite de Litera, through the municipal Secretariat, which signed the announcement on October 2, 2026.

The public information period is fifteen calendar days and is calculated from the insertion of the announcement in the Huesca Section of the Official Gazette of Aragon. During this period, any interested party may examine the file and submit any allegations they deem appropriate.

The projected farm

The activity promoted by GANAVISA, S.A., with NIF A22177216, consists of the relocation and unification of two fattening cattle livestock farms. The technical data of the site are as follows:

• Location: polygon 33, plot 70, area LAS PLANAS.
• Total declared capacity: 180 fattening cattle places.
• Activity: relocation and unification of two existing farms.

Technical documentation and submission of allegations

The documentation accompanying the application was drafted by the agricultural technical engineer Ms. Concepción Arazo Solana, and consists of two submissions registered at the City Council:

• Project endorsed on March 16, 2026, and received on March 24, 2026, with entry registration number 510.
• Complementary technical documentation received on June 9, 2026, with entry registration number 952.

The file may be consulted at the municipal offices of Tamarite de Litera and will also be available to interested parties on the City Council’s electronic headquarters, accessible at http://tamaritedelitera.sedelectronica.es. The announcement is signed by the Mayor-President, Sandra González Cariello.

Impact for the municipality

The publication opens the formal channel for neighbors, entities, and those affected by livestock activity to submit observations before the City Council resolves the environmental license.
