Talavera publishes the provisional list for 22 Administrative Assistant positions

The Talavera de la Reina City Council has approved the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the procedure to fill, via competition, twenty-two Administrative Assistant positions belonging to the General Administration scale. The resolution was issued on September 9, 2026, by the Delegated Department of Finance and Internal Affairs and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Toledo no. 177, of September 16, 2026, on page 24. Applicants who have been excluded have a period of ten days to remedy the defects that led to their exclusion.

The resolution is issued by delegation of the Local Government Board of June 26, 2023, and its operative part approves the provisional list of applicants, which is contained in administrative file no. 784/2025 PER of the Personnel Service of the General Secretariat. The purpose of the procedure is the definitive provision of job positions reserved for career civil servants, Administrative Assistants of General Administration, through the competition system.

The agreement is based on Article 68 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, which regulates the correction of applications. The publication of the applicants’ personal data complies with Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights.

Five admitted and one excluded in the provisional list

The published list includes six applicants, of whom five appear as admitted and one as excluded:

• Raúl Serrano Moreno, excluded for failing to prove the requirement established in clause 3.1 a) of the call.
• María Cristina Ávila Sánchez, admitted.
• Laura Villamartín, admitted.
• Beatriz Castaño Fernández, admitted.
• Alejandro Gómez Sánchez, admitted.
• María Concepción Gómez Casillas, admitted.

The list identifies the applicants by first name, surnames, and partially hidden ID number, and expressly indicates the cause of exclusion, as required by data protection regulations.

Ten days to remedy and correct personal data

The period for correction is ten days starting from the publication of the resolution in the provincial gazette. During this period, interested parties may:

• Submit documentation proving compliance with the requirement whose absence led to the exclusion.
• Request in writing the correction of errors in their personal data.
• Formalize the request through the electronic office or the General Registry, documenting the application where appropriate.

Those who do not remedy the cause of exclusion within the indicated period will be understood to have withdrawn their application and will be declared definitively excluded.

Publication on the notice board and the municipal website

The provisional list is displayed on the Notice Board of the Talavera de la Reina City Council and on its website, so that applicants can check their status without the need for individual notification. The resolution is signed in Talavera de la Reina on September 10, 2026, by the Councilor for Finance and Internal Affairs, Jesús García-Barroso Corrochano, and bears insertion number 4122, with verification code 2026.00004122.

The competition affects a significant volume of local public employment: twenty-two Administrative Assistant positions in the general scale, one of the categories with the most weight in the municipal workforce. The publication of the provisional list opens the decisive phase of the process, as the correction period determines whether excluded applicants can continue competing and whether the final list accurately reflects who is participating. For admitted candidates, the next milestone will be the resolution establishing the final list and the development of the competition; for the City Council, compliance with the legal deadlines for correction is critical to avoid invalidating the procedure.
