Talavera approves the final list for two operator positions for people with disabilities

The Talavera de la Reina City Council has approved the final list of applicants admitted and excluded from the selection process for the provision, under the regime of career civil servants, of 2 Operator positions reserved for people with disabilities, via open competition and examination. The decision, adopted through Resolutions dated August 17, 2026, by the Delegated Department of Finance and Internal Affairs, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Toledo number 161, dated August 25, 2026, under reference No. I.- 3823.

The positions originate from the 2023 public employment offer and are processed under administrative file 00615/2025/PER of the Personnel Service of the General Secretariat. The first test of the process is scheduled for September 4, 2026 (Friday) at 4:00 PM.

Qualifying Tribunal

The resolution also designates the members of the Qualifying Tribunal who will be responsible for the selection of applicants and the development of the selection process:

• Secretary: Mr. César Morales Rentero (substitute, Ms. Beatriz Castaño Fernández)

• Member: Mr. Luis Manuel Flores Díaz (substitute, Mr. Adolfo Fco. Garín Pezzi)

The tribunal is convened on the same day as the exam, prior to the time the test is held.

Place and date of the exam

The first test will be held on September 4, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, University Studies Center of Talavera de la Reina, located at Avenida Real Fábrica de Sedas, s/n in the city. The resolution orders the notification of the tribunal members and publication in the Official Gazette of the province, on the website, and on the City Council’s Notice Board for general knowledge.

List of admitted and excluded applicants

The final list includes a total of 97 applicants, of whom 88 are admitted and 9 are excluded. Among the excluded are, among others, Alfonso Alonso Cid, Laura Brasero Ramos, Alejandro Del Mazo Alegría, David Del Pino Bodas, Francisco Javier Gómez González, Israel Guerra Piña, Noelia López Caravaca, Fernando Redondo Paniagua, and Doru Tihoplav.

The causes for exclusion listed in the announcement are as follows:

• Failure to prove representation according to Article 5 of Law 39/2015.
• Failure to submit the application for participation in a timely and proper manner (base 2.1.g).
• Failure to pay the examination fee in a timely and proper manner (base 2.1.h), unless exempt according to base 3.4.
• Failure to prove the degree of disability in the application or not possessing the accrediting degree (base 3.7).

The resolution, signed on August 20, 2026, by the Councilor for Finance and Internal Affairs, Jesús García Barroso Corrochano, represents a decisive step toward labor inclusion in local administration by reserving career civil servant positions for people with disabilities and guaranteeing the transparency of the process through the full publication of the lists.
