Tàrrega urgently appoints three interim Local Police officers

The Local Governing Board of the Tàrrega City Council agreed, in a session on October 13, 2026, to the urgent appointment of interim officers for the Local Police from the job bank of interim personnel for local police forces in Catalonia (August 2026). The appointments are made public through edicts 8454 and 8455 of the Official Gazette of the Province of Lleida no. 195, dated October 13, 2026, under file 001/2026/7186/G113. Both take effect from October 14, 2026, the date on which the appointees must take possession of the position.

The agreements are framed within Article 82 of Decree 214/1990, of July 30, which approves the Regulations for personnel in the service of local entities in Catalonia, which requires the publication of appointments for interim civil service personnel. The coverage is carried out under Article 10.1.b) of the TREBEP, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30. The edicts are signed by the mayor, Rosa Mª Perelló Escoda.

• Roger Boncompte Elies, with DNI *5694, as an interim civil servant to occupy a Local Police officer position with code 10.112.19, from the Special Administration scale, Special Services sub-scale, Local Police class, basic scale, and to fill the officer position with code RLT 10-50000-04, full-time, group C, subgroup C1. The appointment extends until the definitive coverage of the position.
• Alejandro Montes Casado, with DNI *9313, as an interim civil servant for the temporary substitution of Francesc Jové Riart, a career civil servant who retains the right of reservation of position and destination, in the officer position with code 10.112.13, Special Administration scale, Special Services sub-scale, Local Police class, basic scale, officer category, group C, subgroup C1. The appointment will be maintained until the return of the holder or until the cause motivating it ceases to exist.

Regulatory framework and procedure

The appointments are based on Article 10.1.b) of the TREBEP, relating to the temporary coverage of positions reserved for career civil servants, and are published in compliance with Article 82 of Decree 214/1990. Publication in the official gazette is the procedure that gives effectiveness and publicity to the agreement of the local governing body.

Both appointments are interim and temporary: one covers a vacant position until the corresponding selection process is resolved, and the other addresses a temporary substitution while the holder maintains the reservation of the position. Neither of the two entails the consolidation of the position.
