SUVICASA announces a vacancy for a home care coordinator

The Municipal Company for Land, Housing and Services of Cabanillas del Campo, S.A. (SUVICASA) has announced a selection process via competitive examination and merit assessment to fill a permanent position as Coordinator of the Home Help Service (SAD), with code SUV-SAD-COO-002. The call is approved by Management Decree 2026-0008, dated August 24, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 165, dated August 28, 2026.
The position, for permanent contractual staff and group A-2B, is included in the entity’s 2025 Public Employment Offer, approved by Management Decree 2025-0005, dated December 19, 2025, and published in the BOP of Guadalajara number 245, dated December 23, 2025. It also appears in the Human Resources Planning Plan of SUVICASA, approved by the General Assembly in the session of January 30, 2025. The rules are published in full in accordance with the principles of equality, merit, capacity, publicity, and transparency that govern access to public employment.
Position characteristics and requirements
The selected person will join on a full-time basis, with an average of 37.5 hours per week on an annual basis, and will assume functions of planning, organization, and supervision of the service personnel, coordination with other professionals, assessment of users, and home visits.
To participate, the following requirements must be met:
- Nationality of an EU Member State or legal residence in Spain with authorization to work.
- Be at least 16 years old and not exceed the compulsory retirement age.
- Hold a Diploma or Degree in Social Work, or an equivalent qualification.
- Accredit a minimum experience of two years in coordination functions of the Home Help Service.
- Possess a type B driver’s license and functional capacity for the position.
Phases of the selection process
The procedure combines an examination phase, which is mandatory and eliminatory, with a merit assessment phase. The examination is graded with a maximum of 75 points and consists of two exercises:
- First exercise (up to 40 points): a multiple-choice test of 40 questions with three options, with a penalty of one-third for each wrong answer and a duration of 60 minutes.
- Second exercise (up to 35 points): resolution of a theoretical-practical case or work simulation linked to the tasks of the position.
To access the merit assessment phase, it is necessary to obtain at least 37.5 points in the sum of both exercises. The merit assessment phase, which is non-eliminatory, is valued with a maximum of 25 points: up to 15 for additional professional experience (0.80 points per month in the public sector and 0.40 in the private sector) and up to 10 for academic merits.
Deadlines and submission of applications
Applications shall be submitted within twenty calendar days starting from the day following the publication of the call in the BOP of Guadalajara, preferably electronically via the SUVICASA electronic office or by email at personal@suvicasa.es. They may also be delivered to the company’s Entry Registry, at Plaza del Alguacil Julio Biosca number 1 in Cabanillas del Campo, from 10:00 to 14:00 hours.
Once the process is completed, the Management will issue the final resolution and the permanent contract will be formalized within a maximum period of one month. Additionally, a temporary employment pool may be established with those who pass the process without being hired, provided they achieve at least 40 points out of 100. The rules, signed by the Manager, Ms. Juana de las Mercedes de Haro Moreno, in Cabanillas del Campo on August 26, 2026, include a syllabus of 22 topics focused on dependency, the social services of Castilla-La Mancha, and the organization of the SAD.
This call consolidates stable public employment within the scope of social services in Cabanillas del Campo, offering a path to permanent tenure in a key coordination position for home care, in a context of increasing demand for care for dependent persons.
