Suellacabras makes the increase in the swimming pool tax definitive

Por FactBox Admin

The Suellacabras City Council has made final the modification of the fiscal ordinance regulating the fee for the provision of the municipal swimming pool service, as no claims were filed during the public exhibition period. The agreement, adopted by the municipal Plenary, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria number 98, dated August 24, 2026, page 2907, with reference BOPSO-98-24082026.

The decision, signed on August 18, 2026, by the mayor, María Felicidad Gómez Lafuente, is based on article 17.4 of the Recast Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5. Since no allegations were registered during the thirty-business-day public exhibition period, the provisional agreement is automatically elevated to final status.

New fee rates

The modification, which affects article 5 of the ordinance, sets the new amounts to be paid by users of the municipal facilities:

  • Day pass: 4 euros.
  • Annual season pass: 200 euros.
  • Six-month season pass: 120 euros.
  • 10-visit pass: 30 euros.
  • 30-visit pass: 75 euros.

Processing and public exhibition

The plenary agreement was provisionally approved and submitted for public information via an announcement on the municipal notice board for thirty business days, counted from the day following its publication in the provincial gazette. During that period, interested parties could examine the file and submit allegations, both in person and through the council’s electronic office, available at suellacabras.sedelectronica.es.

The absence of claims has allowed the agreement to be considered final in accordance with article 17.3 of the aforementioned recast text, without the need for further plenary deliberation.

Appeals against the agreement

Against the agreement, interested parties may file a contentious-administrative appeal within two months, counted from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria, before the High Court of Justice of Castilla y León, based in Burgos, in accordance with article 19 of the Recast Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries.

The increase in the pool fee directly affects the residents and users of the municipality, who will see an increase in the cost of access to the municipal facilities in the next season. The publication in the official gazette provides legal certainty to the measure and opens the period for those who consider themselves aggrieved to appeal it before the courts.
