500,000 euro grants for the recruitment of migrants from their country of origin

The Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration has announced public grants totaling 500,000 euros for the regulation of labor migration flows of migrant workers within the framework of the collective management of recruitment at origin. The call is published via the extract of the Resolution of August 14, 2026, from the Directorate General for Migration Management, recorded in the Official State Gazette number 204, of August 20, 2026, in section V-B of announcements (page 44460).

The call, identified in the National Grants Database with the code 925527, is framed within Order ISM/676/2022, of July 15, which regulates the collective management of recruitment at origin. The extract is published in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Grants, and the full text can be consulted in the aforementioned database.

Beneficiaries and purpose

Business and trade union organizations, cooperatives, and non-profit entities that do not fall under the circumstances provided for in paragraphs 2 and 3 of article 13 of Law 38/2003 and that meet the requirements of article 4 of Order ISM/676/2022 may apply for these grants.

The purpose is to execute five types of actions:

  • Participation in the selection processes of foreign workers not resident in Spain through selection commissions.
  • Organization and coordination of the recruitment and travel of workers.
  • Promotion and support for the concatenation of seasonal campaigns and the development of pilot projects.
  • Specific socio-labor advice and information for migrant workers regarding their rights, working conditions, and social services.
  • Organization and delivery of information sessions and training actions in social, cultural, economic, and labor fields.

Amounts per action

The total allocation amounts to 500,000 euros, charged to budget application 32.03.231H.483.04. The maximum amount assigned to each action is as follows:

  • Selection of workers through commissions: 125,000 €.
  • Organization and coordination of recruitment and travel: 187,500 €.
  • Concatenation of seasonal campaigns and pilot projects: 2,500 €.
  • Socio-labor advice and information: 92,500 €.
  • Information sessions and training actions: 92,500 €.

Deadline and signature

The application period is twenty business days starting from the day following the publication of the summary in the BOE, that is, from August 21, 2026. The resolution was signed in Madrid on August 14, 2026, by the Director General of Migration Management, Santiago Antonio Yerga Cobos, exercising the delegation of powers from the Secretary of State for Migration in accordance with Order ISM/1245/2024, of November 7.

This call reinforces the collective recruitment channel at origin as an orderly and regular route of access to employment for migrants, while involving trade unions, cooperatives, and social entities in the selection, guidance, and training of workers. For interested organizations, it represents an opportunity to finance socio-labor integration projects within a very tight application timeframe.
