Undersecretariat of Fisheries rectifies tender for jack mackerel LTP quota

The Undersecretariat of Fisheries and Aquaculture rectified the annuity values for the Class B LTP Quota tender for the horse mackerel resource, correcting the identity of the awardees of the Class B Transferable Fishing Licenses. The three exempt resolutions, signed by Undersecretary Osvaldo Andrés Urrutia Silva, were published in the Official Gazette No. 44,541 on Thursday, September 3, 2026, in Section II of Particular Regulations.

The rectifications affect the fishery units of the regions from Atacama to Coquimbo, from Valparaíso to La Araucanía, and from Arica and Parinacota to Antofagasta, and correct the 1st resolution of exempt resolutions No. 1,956, No. 1,959, and No. 1,961, all from 2026.

Correction of awardees in Atacama to Coquimbo

Through exempt resolution 2,060, exempt resolution No. 1,956 of 2026 is rectified, which had modified the annuity values of the tender in the fishery unit of Atacama to Coquimbo. The correction replaces the awardee of lots 15, 16, 18, and 19:

• Where it said: Soc. Pesq. Landes S.A. (RUT 92.387.000-8), with folios 2026642994, 2026642996, 2026643000, and 2026643002.
• It should say: Com. y Cons. San Lázaro Ltda. (RUT 76.052.532-4), with folios 2026643976, 2026643990, 2026643992, and 2026643994.

In all cases, the offer amount of 4.88 UTM/ton is maintained, with a March 2026 quota of 325.596 tons and a payment of 1,588.91 UTM; the correction quota 1 of 2026 is 305.484 tons and the correction payment is 1,490.76 UTM, with a differential to be restored of 98.15 UTM per lot.

Changes in Valparaíso to La Araucanía

Exempt resolution 2,061 rectifies exempt resolution No. 1,959 of 2026, corresponding to the fishery unit of Valparaíso to La Araucanía. The awardees of lots 51 and 56 are replaced:

• Where it said: Soc. Pesq. Landes S.A. (RUT 92.387.000-8) and Foodcorp Chile S.A. (RUT 87.913.200-2).
• It should say: Com. y Cons. San Lázaro Ltda. (RUT 76.052.532-4), with folios 2026643978, 2026643972, and 2026643974.

The March 2026 quotas amount to 849.771, 1,769.386, and 2,619.158 tons, with payments of 4,146.88, 8,634.60, and 12,781.49 UTM respectively. The differentials to be restored are 256.04, 533.13, and 789.18 UTM.

Rectification in Arica and Parinacota to Antofagasta

Exempt resolution 2,059 corrects exempt resolution No. 1,961 of 2026, regarding the fishery unit of Arica and Parinacota to Antofagasta, in the same sense of replacing the holders of the Class B transferable fishing licenses. The full text of the three resolutions will be published on the electronic domain sites of the Undersecretariat of Fisheries and Aquaculture and the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Service.

The resolutions were signed in Valparaíso on Friday, August 21, 2026, by Undersecretary Osvaldo Andrés Urrutia Silva.

Impact for license holders

The rectification has a direct effect on holders of Class B Tradable Fishing Licenses, by correcting the identity of the awardees and the annuity values of the bidding process for the horse mackerel LTP quota. The bid amounts and payment installments remain the same, but the differentials to be reimbursed and the associated folios are adjusted to the new awardees, requiring operators to verify their license documentation with the fisheries authority.
