Upward auction of 19 State rural estates in Palencia

The Delegation of Economy and Finance in Palencia has called for a public ascending auction of 19 lots of rural real estate assets belonging to the State, which will be held on November 24 at 10:00 AM in the Assembly Hall of the delegation, at Plazuela de la Sal, 1, third floor. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Palencia, number 107, dated September 7, 2026, within the section of the General State Administration, Ministry of Finance.

The properties are sold as a specific body (cuerpo cierto), in accordance with Article 1471 of the Civil Code, regardless of their condition and possible discrepancies in surface area; it is the buyer’s responsibility to request reconciliation and assume the current state of the property. The specifications of clauses were favorably reported by the State Legal Service in Palencia on July 30, 2026, and approved by the delegate on August 20, 2026.

The lots and their location

The properties are distributed across six municipalities in the province, consisting of irrigated, dryland, and wasteland terrains. The bidding prices range from 62.20 euros for lot 1 to 24,591.56 euros for lot 9.

Nogales de Pisuerga (Alar del Rey City Council): lots 1 to 7, irrigated properties in the “La Vega” site.
Antigüedad: lot 8, dryland property in “El Cura”.
Astudillo: lots 9 to 12, wasteland and dryland properties in “Mangada”, “Valdelascubas”, “Moslares”, “Cuesta Latorre”, and “Pocillos”.
Autillo de Campos: lots 13 and 14, dryland properties in “Berbenales” and “El Val”.
Poza de la Vega: lots 15 to 18, dryland and irrigated properties in “La Beduga”, “Matapulgas”, “Brezal”, “Las Pradillas”, “Vega Arriba”, and “La Quebrantada”.
Frechilla: lot 19, dryland property in “El Salgoral”.

Guarantees and bidding conditions

Each lot requires a guarantee of 5% of the bidding price, which must be paid and credited in the manner established in the specifications until 2:00 PM on the last business day prior to the auction. Lots 12, 15, and 18 group several properties and set total guarantees of 701, 152.53, and 613.04 euros, respectively.

Lot 1: price €62.20, guarantee €3.11.
Lot 9: price €24,591.56, guarantee €1,229.58.
Lot 19: price €12,941.50, guarantee €647.07.

The urban planning conditions are those derived from the planning, to be verified by interested parties at each city council. Lot 19 is currently assigned to a public use or service, and this assignment will remain until the moment prior to the issuance of the ministerial award order, in accordance with Article 112.6 of Law 33/2003.

The specifications may be consulted at the State Heritage Section of the delegation, by telephone at 979 706 639, and through the Ministry of Finance website (www.hacienda.gob.es). The initiation of the disposal proceedings was agreed upon by the General Directorate of State Heritage on June 30, 2026.

The auction represents an opportunity for farmers and investors in the province to acquire public rural land at very modest starting prices, within a context of growing demand for irrigated and non-irrigated land in the Palencia region.
