Splashmins opens final objection window on Madewini lease lot transfers
Por FactBox Admin

Ashmin’s Fun Park and Resort Inc., the company behind Splashmins Resort at Madewini, has published the third and final round of notices advertising the transfer of eleven lots carved out of State Land Lease No. A31211 on the western side of the Soesdyke-Linden Highway. The notices, numbered 3178 to 3188, appear in the Official Gazette of Guyana No. 389/2026 of 10 October 2026, First Supplement, pages 4043 to 4048, under the Lands and Surveys heading. They are the last publication before the advertised rights, title and interest can be passed to the named buyers.
The notices are issued through the Guyana Lands and Surveys Commission and signed by the Manager, Land Administration Division, for the Commissioner of Lands and Surveys. Each is headed “Transfer to be Advertised” and covers “all of the rights, title and interest” of the company in one specific lot, in so far as those rights relate to that lot within the parent lease.
The same eleven lots were advertised in a first publication on 26 September 2026 and a second on 3 October 2026, so the 10 October notices complete the three-publication cycle that precedes a transfer of State lease land.

Objections and the deadline
Anyone with rights, interest or a claim in the land who has grounds to oppose a transfer must object at the Office of the Lands and Surveys Commission, 22 Upper Hadfield Street, Durban Backlands, Georgetown, during office hours. The window is seven days from the date of the third publication, which closes on 17 October 2026. Objections must be in writing and duly signed.
The lease behind the transfers
All eleven lots come from State Land Lease No. A31211, issued in respect of 133.4 acres at and being Block ABC comprising Lots 21 to 23, 30 to 33, 34A, Reserve A, B, C, and Tract B1 part of Tract B in the Rear of Soesdyke, on the western side of the Soesdyke-Linden Highway at Madewini, as shown on GL&SC Plan No. 93982. The transferor is Ashmin’s Fun Park and Resort Inc., Company No. 4223, of Madewini Villas, Splashmins Resort, Linden Soesdyke Highway, East Bank Demerara. The notices carry file numbers 411221/846 to 411221/856.
The eleven lots range from 0.144 to 0.213 of an acre and total roughly 1.85 acres, a small fraction of the 133.4-acre lease but a significant cluster of individual disposals along the highway corridor. The buyers are drawn from Georgetown, the East Bank and West Bank of Demerara, the East Coast and Berbice, indicating demand well beyond the immediate Madewini area. With the third publication now on record, the transfers can proceed unless a valid objection is filed within the seven-day window.
