Soto de la Vega approves paving and reinforcing its streets for 920,000 euros

The Soto de la Vega City Council has initially approved the works project titled “Paving and reinforcement of streets in the municipality of Soto de la Vega,” with a total amount of 920,000.00 euros. The agreement was adopted by the municipal Plenary in an ordinary session on September 17, 2026, and is now published in the Official Gazette of the Province of León no. 207, dated Friday, October 30, 2026, with the official reference BOP-LE-2026-207008 (page 21 of 67).

Initial approval and budget breakdown

Contracting delegated to the mayor

The Plenary delegates to the mayor, Lorenzo Callejo Miguélez, the performance of the procedures relating to the contracting of the works and the subsequent execution of the project. The announcement also includes the plenary agreement of December 18, 2025, by which the processing of the contracting of works and their execution is delegated to the mayor, such that the Mayor’s Office assumes both the bidding and the management of the contract.
