Soria publishes the final list for the Technical Architect position

The Soria City Council has approved the final list of admitted and excluded candidates for the provision of one Technical Architect position, under a permanent labor staff regime, and has appointed the tribunal that will evaluate the applicants’ merits. The resolution, signed by Mayor Javier Antón Cacho on August 27, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria, number 101, dated August 31, 2026 (reference BOPSO-101-31082026).

The process is part of the stabilization selection processes derived from the sixth and eighth additional provisions of Law 20/2021, convened via a competition system. The call was published in the Official State Gazette number 251, dated October 17, 2024, with the general bases in the BOP of Soria number 149, dated December 30, 2022, and the specific bases of the competition in the BOP of Soria number 116, dated October 7, 2024.

Final list of admitted candidates

After reviewing the case documentation and following the end of the claims period, the competent body has elevated the provisional list of applicants to final status. Six people have been admitted according to the self-assessment submitted, with no excluded persons recorded in the process:

• José María González Hernández — 53.910 points
• Tomás Hergueta Lafuente — 100.000 points
• Juan Francisco Marín Tello — 15.875 points
• Rebeca Pérez Segundo — 8.080 points

The score reflects the sum of professional merits and other merits alleged by each applicant, in accordance with the third base (requirements) and the fifth base (admission) of the call.

Composition of the tribunal

In accordance with the sixth base of the general bases, the resolution determines the nominal composition of the evaluation tribunal, which is constituted as follows:

• President: María Luisa Plaza Almazán; substitute, Lorenzo Jesús Gil Carrascal
• Member 1: Sandra Izquierdo Benito; substitute, Begoña Alonso Guerrero
• Member 2: Eva Lapeña García; substitute, Cristina Vera Mayor
• Member 3: Ana Belén Gallardo Sáez; substitute, Ismael Pomar Barcelona
• Secretary: Mercedes Sanz Burgos; substitute, Isabel Bosque Canoura

The tribunal may not be constituted without the attendance of three of its members, always including the presidency and the secretary, and its decisions shall be adopted by majority, with the president’s vote resolving any tie. Its members must recuse themselves when the causes provided for in Article 23 of Law 40/2015, of October 1, on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector, occur, and applicants may challenge them at any time during the process.

Next steps

The resolution orders the continuation of the qualification procedure for applicants by the designated tribunal, as provided for in the ninth clause of the general bases, for the list of successful candidates, the accreditation of requirements, and the subsequent appointment or hiring. The agreement is published on the notice board of the electronic headquarters of the Soria City Council, on its website, and in the Official Gazette of the Province.
