The El Palomar photovoltaic plant in Aguilar de Campoo is submitted for public consultation

The Regional Ministry of Environment and Energy of the Junta de Castilla y León, through the Territorial Service of Industry, Commerce, and Economy of Palencia, has opened for public consultation the request for prior administrative and construction authorization for the photovoltaic energy production facility named «El Palomar», which will be located in the town of Matalbaniega, in the municipality of Aguilar de Campoo (Palencia). The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León, number 173, dated September 7, 2026, pages 79 and 80, with reference BOCYL-D-07092026-173-14, and opens a period of twenty business days to submit allegations.

The file, registered under number FV-1771, corresponds to the petitioner Inversiones 2012 Desarrollo Negocios, S.L.U., with C.I.F. B-86671658. The process is carried out in accordance with Law 24/2013, of December 26, on the Electricity Sector; Royal Decree 1955/2000, of December 1, which regulates the authorization procedures for electrical installations; Law 21/2013, of December 21, on environmental assessment, and Decree 46/2022, of November 24, which regulates the administrative authorization procedures for electrical installations in Castilla y León.

Characteristics of the installation

The technical project, named «ISFv 2,500 kWn El Palomar in Matalbaniega, T.M. Aguilar de Campoo (Palencia)», contemplates a photovoltaic plant with 2.5 MW of installed capacity, with an access and connection capacity also granted of 2.5 MW. Its main elements are:

• Photovoltaic panels with a unit capacity of 590 Wp, arranged in a fixed structure.
• 14 inverters with a unit nominal capacity of 180 kW, one of them limited to 160 kW.
• «El Palomar» transformation center of 2,500 kVA in a prefabricated building.
• High-voltage underground line of 16 meters of HEPRZ1 AL 18/30 kV 3x(1x240) mm² Al + H25 type cable, between the transformation center and the «Palomar» sectioning center.

The material execution budget amounts to €1,042,579.37.

Deadline and form of allegations

Interested parties have twenty (20) business days, counting from the day following the publication of the announcement, to formulate the allegations and observations they deem appropriate. The documentation can be examined electronically on the Energy and Mining Portal of Castilla y León (www.energia.jcyl.es), or in person at the Territorial Service of Industry, Commerce, and Economy, located at Avenida Casado del Alisal, 27, ground floor, Palencia.

The announcement, dated in Palencia on August 31, 2026, is signed by the Technical Secretary, Manuel Torres Granados, by virtue of the Resolution of the Territorial Delegate of August 27, 2026.
