SOMACYL awards twenty collaborative housing units in Medina del Campo

The Public Infrastructure and Environment Company of Castilla y León, S.A. (SOMACYL) has approved, by means of a Resolution dated August 18, 2026, from the Chief Executive Officer, the final list of successful bidders for the lease of protected collaborative housing located in the building at calle Los Barreros no. 1, in the municipality of Medina del Campo (Valladolid). The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León, number 167, of August 28, 2026, in section I, part D, Other Provisions.
The call is part of the procedure initiated with the announcement published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León on April 27, 2026, and in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valladolid on May 4, 2026, in accordance with section nine 2 thereof. The resolution, signed in Valladolid on August 25, 2026, by the Legal and Procurement Director, Eduardo Moreno Sobrino, incorporates Annex I with the list of successful bidders.

The attached list contains the identity of the successful bidders, but not the specific dwelling assigned to each, in order to comply with the applicable confidentiality and personal data protection requirements. Tax identifiers (NIF/NIE) appear partially masked in the annex.
Deadlines and appeals
Against the resolution, participants in the procedure may file an appeal through the contentious-administrative jurisdictional route within two months from the individualized notification thereof, or from the last publication of the announcement in the last of the aforementioned official gazettes, taking the latest of these dates.
The allocation of these protected collaborative homes in the rural area of Medina del Campo represents an opportunity for affordable housing access for twenty families, within a context of difficulty in accessing housing in rural areas. The initiative, promoted by SOMACYL under the Regional Ministry of Environment and Energy, reinforces the commitment to stabilizing the population and revitalizing the community’s municipalities.
