Socuéllamos approves two credit supplements for 263,500 euros

The Plenary Session of the Socuéllamos City Council initially approved, in an ordinary session held on September 29, 2026, two budget modification files through credit supplements for a combined amount of 263,500 euros. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real number 190, dated October 2, 2026, in announcement number 3164, and opens a period of fifteen business days for interested parties to submit claims.

The two processed files are 15/2026, endowed with 251,500.00 euros, and 16/2026, with 12,000.00 euros, both implemented as credit supplements. The announcement was signed in Socuéllamos on September 30, 2026, by the mayor, Mª Concepción Arena Mulet, and was electronically signed by the Head of Section of the B.O.P., Juan Luis Cuadros Campo, on October 1, 2026.

Two credit supplements for 263,500 euros

A credit supplement is the budgetary mechanism that allows for additional funding to be allocated to items in the current budget when the planned credit proves insufficient to meet an obligation. In this case, the corporation has resorted to it in two separate files, initially approved by the plenary body.

• File 15/2026: credit supplement in the amount of 251,500.00 euros.
• File 16/2026: credit supplement in the amount of 12,000.00 euros.

Fifteen business days for allegations

The publication of the announcement does not close the procedure: it is an initial approval that must undergo the public information process before becoming final. Legitimate interested parties have a period to examine the file and formulate any claims they deem appropriate against the agreement.

• Calculation: starting from the day following the date of publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real.
• Procedure: examination of the file and submission of claims against the initial approval.
• Legal effect: if no claims have been submitted by the end of the period, the file will be considered definitively approved.

A plenary session with several municipal files

The ordinary session of September 29, 2026, was not limited to the budget modification. The same Plenary processed other files from the Socuéllamos City Council that have also appeared in the same issue of the provincial gazette.

• Final approval of the municipal Ordinance regulating sustainable mobility with personal mobility vehicles, with publication of the full text.
• Provisional approval of the comprehensive modification of Fiscal Ordinance number 2, for the determination of the tax quota of the real estate tax, with consolidated text for 2027 and thirty business days of public exhibition.
• Initial approval of the modification of the municipal Ordinance on roads, exhibited to the public for thirty business days.

In all three cases, the announcement appears signed by the mayor on September 30, 2026, as does the one relating to the credit supplements.

Impact for residents

The budget modification enables additional spending of 263,500 euros in the municipal accounts of Socuéllamos, such that its processing conditions the execution of the actions planned in the reinforced items. The period of fifteen business days is the only window available to interested parties to challenge the files before they are definitively approved, therefore any claim must be submitted within that calendar.
