Socuéllamos increases its budget by 263,500 euros with two credit supplements

The Socuéllamos City Council has approved two modifications to its municipal budget for a combined total of 263,500 euros. The agreements were adopted by the Plenary of the Corporation in an ordinary session held on September 29, 2026, and are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real number 190, dated October 2, 2026, under announcement number 3164.

The publication now opens the public information process for both files, a mandatory step before the modifications are definitively approved. The regulation governing this procedure is the local treasury legislation, which requires budget modification files to be subject to public exhibition upon their initial approval.

Two credit supplements

The approved files are as follows:

• File number 15/2026, via credit supplement, for the amount of 251,500.00 euros.
• File number 16/2026, via credit supplement, for the amount of 12,000.00 euros.

Both operations are implemented through the figure of the credit supplement, which allows for the provision of additional funds to existing items in the current budget. The sum of the two files brings the total expansion to 263,500 euros.

Deadline for claims

The announcement states that legitimate interested parties may examine the file and submit appropriate claims against the initial approval agreement within a period of fifteen business days starting from the day following the date of publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province.

If no claims have been submitted by the end of said period, the file will be considered definitively approved, as stated in the official text itself.
