Seven fire inspector positions: provisionally admitted and excluded candidates

The Provincial Fire Extinction Agency, under the Provincial Council of Granada, has approved the provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates for the selection process to fill seven sub-inspector positions, group B, Special Administration, through the internal promotion competition-examination system. The resolution, signed by Vice President Eduardo Miguel Martos Hidalgo, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada number 169, dated September 2, 2026.

The provisional list is approved by Resolution number 166/2026, dated August 18, and directly affects the applicants and the staff of the provincial fire service, which will see its middle management ranks renewed.

Regulatory framework of the process

The process is based on the rules and call for applications approved by Resolution number 127/2026, dated July 7, published in full in the BOP of Granada number 132, dated July 13, 2026. The summary of the call was also disseminated in the Official Gazette of the Regional Government of Andalusia number 141, dated July 23, and in the Official State Gazette number 182, dated July 27.

The application period was ten business days, from July 28 to August 10, 2026, after which the provisional list of participants was drawn up.

Admitted and excluded

The provisional list includes 14 admitted applicants and 1 excluded. The admitted candidates are:

The only excluded person is José Ángel González Ferreiros, for reason number 2 (Annex II). There are two planned reasons for exclusion: number 1, for failure to present the DNI (ID card), and number 2, regarding Annex II.

Correction period

According to the resolution, the period to correct the documentation will be ten business days, counted from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province. All processing will be carried out through the website of the Provincial Council of Granada (dipgra.convoca.online).

The resolution, dated in Granada on August 26, 2026, now opens the appeals phase before the list of participants in the competition-examination is made final.
