Seville revalues the position of Head of the Budgetary Processing Office

The Governing Board of the City of Seville, in a session held on September 4, 2026, has approved the modification of the Staffing Table (RPT) of the Budget Management Service, revaluing the position of Head of the Budgetary Processing Unit. The agreement, processed under File No. 822/2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville number 175, dated September 9, 2026, and will take effect on October 1, 2026.

The proposal was submitted by the Deputy Mayor Delegated for the Area of Citizen Security and Human Resources, exercising the powers conferred by the Mayoral Resolution number 921, of September 30, 2024. The file was processed in accordance with current legislation and following the issuance of the mandatory reports, and the document is signed by Albina García González, Head of the Selection, Recruitment, and Human Resources Management Service.

Revaluation of the position

The modification affects the position of Head of the Budgetary Processing Unit C1-21 (Code 0531401001), assigned to the Budget Management Service, Budgetary Processing Unit. The position is valued at grade 2 of the special difficulty sub-factor, corresponding to the specific supplement (VPT 621041111), which raises its total valuation to 270.25 points.

The new valuation by factors and sub-factors is broken down as follows:

• Specific – Special difficulty: 25.00 points
• Specific – Decision making: 47.00 points
• Specific – Relations: 18.00 points
• Specific – Command: 33.00 points
• Specific – Execution of tasks: 103.25 points
• Specific – Incompatibility: 44.00 points
• TOTAL POINTS: 270.25

Publication and procedures

The agreement provides for its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province, as well as the sending of a copy to the General State Administration and the Regional Government of Andalusia, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 127 and 129.3 of Royal Legislative Decree 781/1986, of April 18. The RPT proposal for the Budget Management Service is attached as an annex.

Against this act, which is final in the administrative route, the following may be filed:

• An optional appeal for reversal, within a period of one month from the day following publication, pursuant to Articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1.
• A contentious-administrative appeal, directly and within a period of two months, according to Article 114 of Law 39/2015 and Articles 14.1, rule 2, and 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13.

Impact

The revaluation of the position of Head of the Budgetary Processing Unit represents a recognition of the greater responsibility and technical difficulty of a key unit in municipal economic management. Effective from October 1, 2026, the measure reinforces the remuneration structure of the Budgetary Management Service of the Seville City Council, within the framework of the periodic update of its Job Classification List.
