Sevilla convoca ayudas de autobús para actividades de ocio infantil y juvenil

The Seville City Council has opened the public call for grants-in-kind “Support for transport for leisure activities aimed at the child and youth population 2026,” which covers the cost of buses for overnight trips for children’s and youth groups. The guidelines were approved by agreement of the Governing Board of the city of Seville on September 25, 2026, and are published as an extract in the Official Gazette of the province of Seville number 207, dated October 26, 2026, with reference BOP-SE-2026-207024. Interested entities may submit their application until November 30, 2026.

An extract with its own number and state registration

The publication is issued with extract number 223518 and is disseminated under articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17, which require the publication of the call extract along with its registration in the National Grants Database. The identifier in that state registry is BDNS 937136, where the full text of the guidelines can be consulted.

The call is managed through the Area of Education, Youth, Municipal Buildings, Sports and Health Promotion, via the Youth Service of the General Directorate of Education and Youth. The program is linked to the 2026 budget year and, as warned in the guidelines, may close before the end of the year if the available credit is exhausted.

Requirements: municipal registration and groups of 22 people

Non-profit entities registered in the Municipal Registry of Citizen Entities of the Seville City Council that are carrying out activities aimed at children, adolescents, or young people between 3 and 30 years old during 2026 may be beneficiaries. In addition to the requirements of article 13 of the General Grants Law, they must comply, among others, with these conditions:

  • Have legal personality and capacity to act, and be duly registered in the corresponding registry.
  • Be up to date with the payment of tax and fiscal obligations with the Seville City Council, the State Tax Administration Agency, and Social Security.
  • Have objectives and purposes coinciding with those of the call and present an activity project according to Annex II.
  • Be up to date with the payment of obligations for the reimbursement of municipal grants and have justified those previously granted.
  • Not have received a grant from any administration for the execution of the requested trip.

Entities falling under the prohibition causes of paragraphs 5 and 6 of article 4 of Organic Law 1/2002, regulating the Right of Association, are excluded.

Buses for overnight trips in Spain and Portugal

The aid is granted in kind and consists of bus transport for leisure projects with overnight stays. The intended purposes are contact with nature, meeting and coexistence with peer groups, participation in sporting, musical, and creative activities, and the knowledge of places, centers, and institutions of educational, cultural, scientific, and tourist interest in Spain and Portugal. The destination must be located within the territorial scope of the Iberian Peninsula.

Groups must consist of at least 22 people, unless the participants have severe reduced mobility requiring adapted vehicles, in which case the minimum is reduced to 6 people. Each entity may submit only one application—if several are submitted, the first one will be considered valid—and each trip allows a maximum of 220 seats. The assignable vehicles are:

  • Bus of up to 22 seats.
  • Bus of up to 35 seats.
  • Bus of up to 55 seats.
  • Bus of up to 55 seats adapted for people with reduced mobility.
  • Minibus of 6 seats for people with severe reduced mobility.

Deadline until November 30

The application period opens the day after the publication of the guidelines in the Official Gazette of the province of Seville and closes on November 30, 2026. The extract appears signed in Seville, on October 20, 2026, by the deputy mayor delegated for Education, Youth, Municipal Buildings, Sport, and Health Promotion, Blanca Gastalver Molina.

The call is completed by the reference municipal regulations: the General Ordinance approving the regulatory bases for subsidies granted by the City Council of Seville through competitive bidding and the Regulation governing the procedures applicable to subsidies granted by the City Council of Seville, both approved by the Plenary on June 16, 2005, and published in BOP number 161, of July 14, 2005.

The calendar is tight: entities within the Sevillian associative fabric have just over a month to formalize their activity project and their single application. For families, the call means that the cost of the bus for excursions and leisure camps this school year will not fall on the participants’ fees, provided that the entities organizing the trips are registered in the municipal registry and submit the documentation on time.
