Seville approves new TUSSAM fares: single trip at 1.40 euros

The Plenary of the Seville City Council, in an ordinary session held on September 17, 2026, definitively approved the modification of the Regulatory Ordinance for the non-tax public heritage provision corresponding to the service provided by TUSSAM. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville (Boletín Oficial de la Provincia de Sevilla) No. 184, dated Tuesday, September 22, 2026, with the official reference BOP-SE-2026-184019, and will enter into force after the periods provided for in Article 70.2 of the Local Government Base Law.

The proposal was formulated by the Deputy Mayor Delegated for the Area of Cartuja, Innovative Parks, Mobility, Economy, and Trade, exercising the powers conferred by Mayoral Resolution No. 291, dated September 30, 2024. The full text of the ordinance is included as an annex to the announcement and bears the signature of Diego Gómez García, Head of the Administrative Traffic and Transport Service, dated September 18, 2026.

Processing: initial approval without claims

The Local Government Board, in a session on July 24, 2026, agreed to the initial approval of the modification project, which was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville No. 145, dated July 29, 2026. A thirty-day public exhibition period was then opened for the submission of claims and suggestions.

No claims or suggestions were submitted regarding the initial text, according to the agreement now published. The file incorporates the report from the Head of the Administrative Traffic and Transport Service regarding this matter.

Ordinary services: single trip at 1.40 euros

The travel tickets for ordinary services are set as follows:

• Single Trip Ticket: 1.40 euros.
• Multi-trip Card without transfer: 0.69 euros per trip, with a minimum recharge of 7 euros and a maximum of 50 euros.
• Multi-trip Card with transfer: 0.76 euros per trip, with the right to transfer within one hour.
• 30-day Card: 35.30 euros, nominative and with unlimited trips.
• Annual Card: 320.00 euros, valid for 365 calendar days.
• Student Card September-July: 190.00 euros, payable in two installments of 95 euros.
• Monthly Student Card: 19.00 euros per month.

Tickets under social coverage

The ordinance maintains and details the social tickets, in several cases at no cost to the user:

• Plus+ Card: 0.00 euros, for pensioners over 65 and those over 60 meeting the required criteria.
• Solidarity Card: 0.00 euros, for unemployed persons registered in Seville, valid for 180 days.
• Functional Diversity Card: 0.00 euros, valid for 365 days and for disabilities equal to or greater than 65%.
• Social Card for workers: 17.65 euros per month, for those with income below the Minimum Interprofessional Wage.
• Youth Card: 17.65 euros per month, for ages between 16 and 29.
• School Card: 0.00 euros, for children between 3 and 11 years old, with 15.50 euros for activation and processing.

Airport, Fair and family discounts

For the special airport service, the single ticket is set at 6.00 euros, the 48-hour tourist card at 14.00 euros, the 4-day card at 18.00 euros, and the monthly card at 41.00 euros per month. For the Fair and other special services, the single ticket costs 1.60 euros and the trip with a multi-trip card costs 1.50 euros.

Large families of the general category registered in Seville city obtain a 20% discount on the 30-day card, which increases to 50% for the special category. Single-parent families with between two and four children have access to 20%, and those with five or more children to 50%.

The text also authorizes the Board of Directors of TUSSAM, in plenary session or through its Executive Commission, to agree on occasional free service measures, provided they are funded by the municipal transfers planned for each fiscal year. The rates reflect the public sale price including VAT in accordance with Royal Decree-Law 20/2012, of July 13, and will be automatically modified if the tax rate varies.

The entry into force of the new ordinance affects all users of Seville’s urban transport, from the occasional traveler to groups with social passes, and establishes the tariff framework under which TUSSAM will provide the service in the coming years.
