Seven medium-level technician positions at the Provincial Council will be examined on November 26

The Deputación de Pontevedra has set November 26, 2026, as the date for the first exercise of the selection process to fill seven positions for medium-level general administration technician, integrated into subgroup A2 of the general administration scale, management subscale, via the internal promotion quota (CPI2025N). The presidential resolution, processed under file 2025082363, approves the definitive list of admitted and excluded applicants, appoints the qualifying tribunal, and determines the dates of its constitution and the first test. The announcement was published in the Boletín Oficial da Provincia de Pontevedra no. 203, of October 21, 2026, in the Local Administration section.

The text recalls that the provisional list was made public in the Boletín Oficial da Provincia de Pontevedra no. 72, of April 17, 2026, and was subsequently rectified in no. 174, of September 10, 2026. The resolution was issued by the deputy delegate for Personnel by virtue of the delegated powers of the Presidency, and is based on the provisions of the eleventh base of the call and Article 20 of Royal Decree 364/95, of March 20.

Fourteen admitted and three exclusions

The definitive list of admitted persons consists of fourteen applicants, identified by full name and partially hidden NIF:

Three people are excluded. Daniel Amor Carnero and Rocío Vázquez Serantes did not prove seniority as a career civil servant of the Deputación de Pontevedra in the position indicated in the specific bases. Patricia García Martínez is not a career civil servant in an administrative situation of active service nor does she prove seniority of at least two years in an administrative position of general administration of group C1 in this provincial body.

The qualifying tribunal

The resolution appoints the titular and substitute members of the selection body:

• Chairperson titular: María Jesús Torres Peón, head of the Human Resources and Training service; substitute: Natalia Abalo Araújo, assistant to the head of the Employment Promotion and Local Development service.
• Secretary titular: Gabriel Rodríguez Alonso, head of the Intermunicipal Assistance service; substitute: Martín Iglesias Ferreirós, head of the ORAL coordination service.
• Member titular: Pablo Montero Carrera, head of the Contracting, Finance and Heritage service; substitute: Sonia Mateos Escudero, head of the Infrastructure and Provincial Roads administrative services.
• Member titular: Alexandra Tato Torres, management technician, head of section, Treasury; substitute: Marina Piñeiro Novo, head of the Sports service.
• Member titular: Sara Lago Rivas, management technician, Comptroller’s Office; substitute: Ana María Soto Prieto, head of Administrative Management of the Príncipe Felipe Center.

The rules require the members of the tribunal to abstain from intervening, notifying the chairperson, when any of the circumstances of article 23 of Law 40/2015, of October 1, occur, or when they have performed preparation tasks for candidates during the five years prior to the publication of the call. Candidates may challenge them in accordance with article 24 of the same regulation.

Constitution on November 25 and exam on the 26th

The constitution of the tribunal will take place on November 25, 2026, at 9:00 AM at the Pazo Provincial of the Deputación, at Avenida Montero Ríos s/n in Pontevedra. The first exercise will be held the following day, November 26, 2026, also at 9:00 AM and at the same location.

Candidates must present themselves provided with a national identity document or another reliable document proving their identity in the judgment of the tribunal, as well as the appropriate and necessary material means for the practice of each exercise. In compliance with the ninth rule, exam fees will be reimbursed to those who are definitively excluded, through the “Return of undue payments” form available on the electronic office, preferably electronically, together with a bank account certificate or document proving account ownership.

Appeals against the resolution

Against this resolution, which ends the administrative route, an optional appeal for reversal may be filed before the same body that issued it within one month from the day following the receipt of the notification, in accordance with articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1. Alternatively, an appeal may be filed before the Contentious-Administrative section of the Court of First Instance of Pontevedra within two months, in accordance with article 46 of Law 29/98, of July 13.

The publication closes the list scrubbing phase and opens the effective testing calendar, meaning that any error in the accreditation of seniority can no longer be amended and the three excluded persons can only appeal or claim the refund of fees. For the fourteen admitted candidates, November 26 is the deadline to prepare for the first exercise of a process that directly affects the management personnel of the provincial institution.
