The extract is disseminated in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17, and the full text can be consulted in the National Grants Database. The call is framed within the regulatory bases of Order TMS/368/2019, of March 28, which develops Royal Decree 694/2017 and Law 30/2015 of the Vocational Training System for Employment, with its successive modifications.

Public or private training entities with a presence in the Principality of Asturias and registered in the corresponding Registry of Training Entities for the specialties subject to training may be beneficiaries. At the time of publication, they must have duly registered facilities within the territorial scope that allow for the teaching of the requested specialties.

The call finances training programs consisting of actions linked to the cider sector, which has specific regulation, according to two lines:

  • Line 2: priority training programs for employed persons, to cover the current needs of the sector.

The call reinforces training in a strategic sector for Asturias, such as cider, with an allocation divided between the unemployed and the employed to address both labor insertion and the updating of skills for those already working. For the training entities of the Principality, it represents an opportunity for multi-year financing, while for the sector’s workers, it opens qualification pathways in a field with its own regulation and strong territorial roots.
