Sentmenat submits the sustainable parking lot of the Can Clapers industrial estate for public information

The Sentmenat City Council has initially approved and submitted for public review the Project for the implementation of a parking lot and sustainable mobility services in the Can Clapers industrial estate, with a contract execution budget of €984,039.88. The agreement was adopted by the municipal Plenary in the session of September 24, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on October 15, 2026, with the official reference CVE 202610150802 and File 3524/2026. The documentation will be available for 30 business days so that any interested party may submit allegations.

The announcement is signed by the mayor, Montserrat Rueda Miralles, with an electronic signature date of October 2, 2026, and literally records the Plenary’s agreement to initially approve the project and submit it for public review. The technical text was drafted by Mr. J.E.T., according to the designation appearing in the official publication.

A 984,039.88 euro project for the industrial estate

The contract execution budget for the project is €984,039.88, including general expenses, industrial profit, and VAT. The expenditure is charged to budget item 410 1530 60902 of the municipal budget.

The objective is the implementation of a parking lot and services linked to sustainable mobility in the Can Clapers industrial estate, an action that directly affects the companies installed in the industrial area and the residents of the municipality.

30-business-day period and consultation channels

The initially approved project is submitted for public review for a period of 30 business days. Publicity is carried out through three simultaneous channels:

• Publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
• Publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona.
• Display on the municipal notice board of the municipal website.

The project and the rest of the documentation can be consulted through two channels:

• Electronically, on the municipal transparency portal.
• In person, at the offices of the Urban Development and Ecology Area, at Plaça de la Vila number 1, second floor, from Monday to Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., by prior appointment arranged by telephone at 93.715.30.30, extension 2.

Allegations and final approval

During the public review period, any interested party may submit in writing to the City Council the claims and allegations they consider relevant. The writings may be addressed to the municipal corporation through any of the means established in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

The municipal agreement also determines that, if no allegation, claim, or suggestion is presented during the public information period, the technical documentation subject to approval will be definitively approved without the need for any other express agreement.

The news is of interest to the companies in the Can Clapers industrial estate, to the residents of Sentmenat, and to the construction companies and engineering firms wishing to compete in a public works tender of nearly one million euros. The calendar is now the key factor: the 30-working-day countdown marks the window for submitting allegations and, if there are none, the definitive entry into force of the project.
