Second call for consultancy for road inspection in Marga Marga

The Roads Directorate of the Valparaíso Region, under the Undersecretariat of Public Works of the Ministry of Public Works, has published the second call for the public tender PP No. 14 Digital to contract advisory services for the fiscal inspection of the mixed global conservation contract for the roads of the Marga Marga province, in its stage IV. The notice appears in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Chile, number 44,542, dated Friday, September 4, 2026, in section IV of Tenders, Competitions, Summons, and Loss of Documents, with code CVE 2863711.

The process will be handled entirely electronically through the platform www.mercadopublico.cl, with no sale of background documents or delivery of physical bases. The contract, identified by number 436,453 and Public Market ID 2010-14-O126, will be financed with sectoral funds and will be awarded based on a series of unit prices offered by the consultant, with CPI adjustment.

Participation Requirements

Contracting companies registered in the MOP Registry that meet the specialty and category required for the inspection area may participate:

• Specialty: 7.1 Road Works and Airports.
• Category: 1st Superior.
• Objective: support for fiscal inspection in global conservation works contracts of the Marga Marga province.

Process Calendar

The schedule sets the following stages, all through the Public Market portal:

• Deadline for inquiries: Tuesday, September 22, 2026, until 4:00 PM.
• Responses and clarifications: Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 5:30 PM.
• Closing for receipt of technical and economic bids: Wednesday, October 14, 2026, until 9:00 AM.
• Opening of technical bids: Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
• Opening of economic bids: Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM.

Both openings will take place at the facilities of the Regional Ministerial Secretariat of Public Works of the Valparaíso Region, at Cochrane Street 751, Valparaíso.

Budget and Term

The estimated budget amounts to $1,273,240,500, VAT included, and the contract execution term is 38 months. The tender corresponds to the second call of this process, which expands the opportunity for road works companies in the region to submit their bids.
