Segovia auctions 226 State-owned rural properties with sealed-bid offers

The Delegation of Economy and Finance of Segovia has called for a public ascending auction of 226 rural properties owned by the General State Administration in the province of Segovia, with the simultaneous admission of sealed-bid offers. The announcement, signed by the delegate Cristina Blanco Robles, is published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) no. 234, dated September 22, 2026, with the official reference BOE-B-2026-30623. The public auction event will take place on November 4, 2026, at 9:30 a.m.

The resolution agrees to put the assets out to first, second, third, and fourth public ascending auctions. The starting price has been reduced by 15% compared to the price listed in the last auction in which each asset was included, in accordance with Article 106 of Royal Decree 1373/2009, of August 28, which develops the Law on the Heritage of Public Administrations.

The background is detailed in the announcement itself: on December 19, 2025, properties numbered 94 to 169 were put out to first auction; those numbered 170 to 181 were put out to second—except for number 175, which was auctioned on September 26, 2025—; and numbers 182 to 224 were put out to third, all of which remained vacant. Assets 225 and 226 were subject to a third auction on September 26, 2025, and were provisionally awarded, but since the successful bidder failed to meet the obligations derived from the award, they are being put up for auction again.

How and when to bid

• Date and place: November 4, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., in the Assembly Hall of the Delegation of Economy and Finance in Segovia, calle Cronista Ildefonso Rodríguez nº 1.
• Offer period: thirty calendar days from the day following the publication of the announcement in the BOE.
• Modality: ascending auction with simultaneous admission of sealed-bid offers; the second, third, and fourth calls will be held consecutively in the same event, with a 15% reduction in the starting price relative to the previous one.
• Deposit: 5% of the starting price of each property.
• Terms and conditions: available at the State Heritage Section of the Delegation (second floor, telephone 921466613) and on the Ministry of Finance website, in the auctions section.
• Capacity: limited, with access via prior appointment requested at the email DEHSegovia_Patrimonio@igae.hacienda.gob.es or by telephone at 921466613, with preference given to bidders.

The properties and the amounts

• 226 plots of a rural nature, identified by municipality, polygon, plot, cadastral area, and cadastral reference.
• Lowest starting price: 33.96 euros (Aldeonte, polygon 104, plot 110, 0.0101 hectares).
• Highest starting price: 42,544.93 euros (Sotillo, polygon 9, plot 15, 12.8443 hectares).
• Other high-value estates: Sequera de Fresno (32,707.92 euros), Olmillo, municipality of Aldeonte (18,572.15 euros), Sacramenia (17,046.75 euros), El Olmo-Barbolla (16,506.50 euros), and Turrubuelo, municipality of Boceguillas (15,191.76 euros).
• Concentration by municipality: Aldeanueva de la Serrezuela has 56 plots, followed by El Olmo-Barbolla (23), Sacramenia (22), Torreadrada (14), Turrubuelo (12), Aldeonte (11), and Cobos de Fuentidueña (10).

A procedure with a history of unsuccessful calls

A large part of the lot was already put up for auction in 2025 without receiving offers, which explains the accumulated reduction in the starting price and the simultaneous call for up to four rounds in a single act. The announcement also reflects the case of two estates that were provisionally awarded and are returning to the procedure due to the awardee’s breach of contract.

The file is closed with the signature of the delegate in Segovia on September 17, 2026, and the identifier A260039784-1, in addition to the reference BOE-B-2026-30623 appearing on each page of the announcement.

The operation opens the possibility for local farmers, livestock breeders, and investors to acquire State rural land at reduced prices after several unsuccessful calls, in a procedure that requires a prior deposit and a sealed-bid offer. For the Administration, the auction is also a means of disposing of dispersed agricultural assets and generating revenue for the public treasury.
