Segovia sets the first exercise for the Masonry Operator position

The Segovia City Council has scheduled the first exercise of the open competitive examination to fill a permanent position as a Masonry Operator for September 23, 2026, at 4:00 PM. This is established by Mayoral Resolution No. 2026/05080, of August 14, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Segovia number 101, of August 24, 2026, which also nominally determines the composition of the qualifying board.

The call is part of the selection process announced in BOP No. 71, of June 15, 2026, and is governed by the unitary bases approved by Mayoral Resolution No. 2024/01711, of March 21, 2024, which regulate the permanent selection of vacant positions within the council. The announcement is published in accordance with the General Regulation for the Admission of Personnel to the State Administration Service, approved by Royal Decree 364/1995, of March 10, and other concordant provisions.

Provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates

The resolution declares the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants approved, which is available on the electronic headquarters of the Segovia City Council (https://sede.segovia.es). The list will automatically become final if there are no claims after ten business days from the day following the publication in the gazette, during which time excluded candidates may rectify the noted defects.

The applicants provisionally excluded due to the submission of applications after the deadline are:

• David Sánchez Álvarez
• Aitana Cuéllar Álvarez

Date, location, and requirements for the first exercise

The first exercise will take place on September 23, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the Centro Cívico Nueva Segovia – Pabellón Pedro Delgado. All applicants must bring their National Identity Document.

Composition of the qualifying board

The resolution makes public the nominal determination of the qualifying board, including its titular and substitute members:

• President: titular Miguel Ángel Muñoz Fernández; substitute María del Carmen Arias González.
• Secretary: titular Virginia Hernando Izcara; substitute Víctor Herrero Miguelsanz.
• First Member: titular Juan José Zaera Martín; substitute Elena Manso Núñez.
• Second Member: titular Oscar Velasco Miguelsanz; substitute Natalia Gil Jiménez.
• Third Member: titular Susana González Rubio; substitute María Ángeles González Antón.
• Fourth Member: titular Roberto Nava García; substitute Ángel San Juan Duque.

The resolution, signed by Mayor José Mazarías Pérez, is made public for the knowledge of interested parties in accordance with the rules of the call. The publication of the tribunal and the date of the exercise is key for the applicants, who must prepare for the test and verify their status on the list, as well as for the planning of the municipal staff, thus advancing the permanent filling of a position of an essential nature for the maintenance and works services of the town hall.
