The Andes Colchagua Trade Association is established in San Fernando

The Andes Colchagua Trade Association was established on August 18, 2026, in San Fernando, with the purpose of grouping together wineries, hotels, gastronomy, and tourism from the Colchagua Valley. The extract of the act was published by the Official Gazette of the Republic of Chile on Thursday, September 17, 2026, in its edition No. 44,553, under the official reference CVE 2872984.

The act was held in the presence of the Notary Public Sebastián Camiruaga Marshall, head of the Third Notary Office of San Fernando, located in the commune of Chimbarongo. The entity may use the acronym Andes Colchagua A.G. and established its domicile at Chillán Street No. 1195, commune of San Fernando, Libertador General Bernardo O’Higgins Region.

The publication appears in Section II of the bulletin, dedicated to decrees, resolutions, requests, and regulations of particular interest, within the Trade Associations section of the Undersecretariat of Economy and Small Businesses, dependent on the Ministry of Economy, Development, and Tourism. A total of 10 legal entities attended the constitution.

Provisional Board and represented companies

The board was composed of representatives from seven companies in the sector:

• Juan José Aldunate Vidal, president, representing Sociedad de Inversiones JAV SpA.
• Gustavo Rafael Carvallo Ocampo, secretary, representing Destilería Alto Colchagua SpA.
• Catalina Aubert Avetikian, treasurer, representing Viña Koyle S.A.
• Mario Pablo Silva Silva, representing Viña Casa Silva S.A.
• Sebastián Andrés Maturana Pérez, representing Comercial Maturana Winery SpA.
• Germán Arturo Claro Lyon, representing Turismo Los Lingues Limitada.
• Luis Alejandro Mayol Bouchon, representing Viña Selentia Limitada.

The last four members were designated as other members of the board, without the assignment of a specific position in this act. In its first session, the provisional board will proceed to distribute the position of Vice President among its members, in accordance with Article 29 of the bylaws.

Trade purpose and territorial scope

The purpose of the association is the promotion, rationalization, development, and protection of the common activity of its members, namely tourism, viticulture, hotel management, gastronomy, and related activities in the Colchagua Valley, located in the Province of Colchagua, Libertador General Bernardo O’Higgins Region, and its surroundings.

It is a trade structure of provincial scope that brings together actors from different links of the tourism and wine chain, from wineries and distilleries to hotels and tourism services.

Official Registration

The entity was registered with the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism under number 208-6, thereby completing its formal recognition as a trade association.

The constitution was formalized by a public deed before a notary, and the respective extract was included in edition No. 44,553 of the Official Gazette of the Republic of Chile, corresponding to Thursday, September 17, 2026.

The creation of Andes Colchagua A.G. provides the tourism and wine-growing business community of Colchagua with its own trade body to represent its interests before authorities and public agencies. For local readers, it implies a new formal interlocutor in matters of tourism promotion, local economic development, and the defense of wine-growing activities in the O’Higgins Region.
