Sarria notifies of the debts of the home help service

The Sarria City Council collectively notifies the settlements of the public price for the home help service (SAF) corresponding to the month of July 2026, through an edict signed on August 5 by the mayor-president, Claudio M. Garrido Martínez. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo number 189, on Thursday, August 20, 2026, and affects the users of the service.
The notification is processed under article 102.3 of Law 58/2003, General Tax Law, of December 17, which regulates the collective notification of tax debts with periodic maturity. The home help service register constitutes one of the debts with periodic maturity that the council manages jointly.
Consultation of the file
Interested parties may consult the file at the social services offices of the Sarria City Council within a period of 15 days starting from the publication of the announcement in the BOP of Lugo.

Appeals and deadlines
Against the provisional settlements, an appeal for reversal may be filed before the competent body of the council within one month, starting from the day following the end of the exhibition period, or any other that is considered appropriate. This possibility is based on article 14.2 of the Recast Text of the Law regulating Local Treasuries.
Collection announcement
In accordance with articles 24 and 25 of the General Collection Regulations, approved by Royal Decree 939/2002, of July 29, and article 6 of the municipal tax ordinance, payment must be made within the first twenty days of the month following the provision of the SAF, at the banking entity that the user has established for this purpose.

- Method: at the banking entity designated by the user.
- Consequence of non-payment: debts will be demanded through the administrative enforcement procedure, in accordance with tax legislation.
Collective notification allows the council to efficiently regularize the collection of the public price for the home help service, an essential provision for the home care of dependent persons. Users should be mindful of the consultation and appeal deadlines to avoid the enforcement route.
