Sanxenxo opens extraordinary credit 3/2026 for claims

The Sanxenxo City Council initially approved, in an extraordinary session of the municipal Corporation held on September 10, 2026, extraordinary credit no. 3/2026, which is now open to the public for a period of 15 days so that interested parties may examine it and file claims before the Plenary. The announcement was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) on September 15, 2026, number 177.

The processing is carried out under the provisions of articles 169 and 177 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, which approves the revised text of the Law regulating local finances. The extraordinary credit directly affects the municipal budget and, therefore, the taxpayers of the municipality, as it implies a modification of the current budget items.

Exhibition period and claims

The file remains open to the public for 15 calendar days, counted from the day following the insertion of the public information announcement in the BOPPO. During this period, interested parties may examine the document and present their allegations.

• The credit will be considered definitively approved if no claims are presented during the period.
• If claims are made, the Plenary will have one month to resolve them.
• Interested parties are those referred to in article 170.1 of the aforementioned Royal Legislative Decree.
• Claims must comply with the provisions of article 170.2 of the same regulation.
