Santander publishes the final list of 18 Administrative Assistant positions
Por FactBox Admin

The Santander City Council has finalized the list of admitted and excluded applicants for the selection process called to fill 18 permanent positions as Administrative Assistant. The resolution is signed by the delegated councilor for Human Resources, Quality, and Heritage, Daniel Portilla Fariña, and is published in the Official Gazette of Cantabria (BOC) number 196, dated October 13, 2026, with the official reference CVE-2026-7932. The agreement exhausts the administrative route and opens the appeal periods for interested parties.
The call includes twelve positions in the open category and six in the category reserved for people with disabilities, belonging to the General Administration scale, Administrative sub-scale, Group C2. The provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants was published in BOC number 170, dated September 3, 2026. Following the period for submissions, the Councilor for Human Resources, exercising the powers delegated by the Local Government Board through the agreement of June 22, 2023, adopted the resolution on October 2, 2026.
Four corrections to the provisional list
The resolution orders the finalization of the list published in September with four corrections:
- Include in the final list of admitted applicants six candidates who submitted their application in a timely and proper manner and did not appear on the provisional list: Conde Acebo, Mónica; Martínez Seco, María; Pereira de la Fuente, Mónica; Santamaria Rodríguez, Verónica; Villate Cuadrado, María Elena; and Zamanillo González, María, all in the open category.
- Accept and rectify the list to incorporate Alonso Pérez, Alexandra and Moreno Setién, María Elena into the disability category, once it was proven that they meet the disability requirement.
- Rectify a material error: where it said “Kudryavtseva Kudryavtseva, Anna” it should say Kudryavtseva Polousova, Anna.
- Include in the final list of admitted applicants those who corrected the cause that led to their exclusion, both in the open category and the disability category.
Dismissed appeals
Seven applicants remain excluded as they failed to correct the causes that led to their exclusion:
- Amayo Revilla, Ana Claudia (open category)
- Calzada Esteban, Noelia (open category)
- Cotera Ceballos, Silvia Emma (disability category)
- Díaz González, Blanca María (open category)
- Marcilla Argüelles, María Soledad (open category)
- Martínez Rodríguez, Aranzazu (disability category)
- Valenzuela Burga, Marlene Teresa (open category)
Admitted after correcting exclusion
Six applicants are incorporated into the disability category: Castro López, María Sandra de; Comadira Miguel, Virginia; García Pérez, María Pilar; Pérez Pérez, Sonia; Revuelta Montequin, Kevin; and Roiz Briz, Covadonga.
In the open access category, the list of admitted candidates who provided proof of correction is extensive and begins with Aduc Aduc, Natalia, Albillo Romero, María Luisa, and Argüeso Postigo, Vanesa, among many other applicants. The BOC warns that appearing on the list of admitted candidates does not prejudge the recognition of the possession of the required requirements: if the documentation submitted after passing the process reveals that they are not met, the interested parties shall forfeit all rights derived from their participation.
Deadlines and avenues for appeal
Against the resolution, which exhausts the administrative route in accordance with Article 52 of Law 7/1985, the following are applicable:
- Optional appeal for reversal (recurso potestativo de reposición) before the Local Governing Board within one month from the day following notification (Articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015).
- Contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Cantabria, based in Santander, within a period of two months.
- If the appeal for reversal is not expressly resolved within one month, it is understood to be dismissed and the contentious period is extended to six months (Articles 8 and 46 of Law 29/1998).
- Any other appeal deemed appropriate (Article 40.2 of Law 39/2015).
The publication of the final list closes the admission phase and clears the way toward the competitive examination exercises, a decisive step for the hundreds of applicants competing for the 18 positions. The seven excluded candidates whose objections were dismissed still have the avenue of appeal open, while the rest of the candidates now know their final status in the process.
