Por FactBox Admin

The Santaella City Council has definitively approved the modification of Fiscal Ordinance No. 15, which regulates the fee for the use of municipal facilities. This update adjusts the prices for sports courts, weight rooms, and public buildings, and incorporates new discounts for large families, pensioners, young people, and people with disabilities. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 174, dated September 9, 2026, with reference BOP-A-2026-3048, and will enter into force the day following its publication.
The file was initially approved in a plenary session held on June 25, 2026, and published in BOP number 136, dated July 16, 2026. Following the public exhibition period provided for in Article 17 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, and in Article 49 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, without any objections being filed, the modifications are considered definitively approved. The document is signed by the mayor, Mª Dolores Doblas Márquez, dated September 3, 2026.
New sports rates
The ordinance updates the prices for sports courses and programs and the Santaella Indoor Sports Pavilion:
- Maintenance gymnastics for seniors: €5/month (2 days per week).
- Maintenance gymnastics for adults: €18/month (3 days per week).
- Popular race and athletics events: €3 for minors (from toddler to cadet) and €7 for adults (from youth to veteran).
- Full multipurpose court: €12 with electric lighting and €8 without; one-third of a court, €6 and €4 respectively.
- Weight room: €4 per session, €14 for an 8-session pass, €20 monthly fee, €18/month with a 3-month registration, and €16/month with a 6-month registration.
Discounts and passes
Discounts of 50% are established for holders of 10-reservation passes for tennis, padel, and multipurpose courts, as well as for members of large families, so-called “sports families” (with a minimum of three registered members), pensioners, youth card holders, and people with disabilities. Residents registered in population centers other than the main one benefit from a 25% discount. In no case are the discounts cumulative.
Public facilities and rules of use
The modification also sets the rates for municipal buildings and equipment, along with their corresponding deposits:
- Casa del Ciudadano (indoor and outdoor premises): €300 fee and €200 deposit.
- Casa del Ciudadano training classrooms: €25/day and €100 deposit.
- Casa de la Cultura Assembly Hall: €150 and €100 deposit.
- SUM (Multi-purpose Room) of La Montiela and El Fontanar: €150 and €100 deposit.
- Other public buildings or facilities for private use: €5/hour and €100 deposit.
- Civil wedding ceremony and Patio de la Casa de las Columnas: €100 and €200 deposit, respectively.
Additionally, usage rules are incorporated: minors under 15 may only access the weight room accompanied by a responsible adult, and the entry of animals into sports facilities is prohibited, except for guide dogs.
The update of the ordinance provides a clear and homogeneous tariff framework for the use of Santaella’s municipal facilities, with a discount regime aimed at vulnerable groups and to encourage sports practice among residents. An administrative appeal may be filed against the approval from its publication in the provincial bulletin.
