Santa Susanna appoints seven Local Police officers and one sergeant

The City Council of Santa Susanna has appointed seven Local Police officers, four as career civil servants and three as interim civil servants, according to the announcements published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on September 17, 2026. The appointments are formalized by mayoral resolutions and are made public in compliance with Article 35 of Decree 233/2002, of September 25. The effects of the agreements are retroactive and range from June 22 to July 31, 2026.

The announcements bear the signature of the mayor, Joan Campolier Montsant, and are dated in Santa Susanna on September 9, 2026, although their official publication did not occur until the 17th. The invoked regulation is Decree 233/2002, of September 25, which approves the Regulation on access, promotion, and mobility of Local Police, which mandates the publication of personnel appointments for local bodies.

The positions correspond to the special administration scale, special services sub-scale, local police class, group C, subgroup C1, of the city council’s civil servant staff. The appointments are divided into two announcements with different official references: CVE 202610139510, for career civil servants, and CVE 202610139425, for interim staff.

Four career officers with retroactive effects

The appointments of career civil servants were agreed upon by two mayoral resolutions on August 31. The first, RA 1014/26, corresponds to Abdelkarim Bakkali Cherradi, effective July 31, 2026.

The second, RA 1015/26, groups three appointments effective June 22, 2026:

• Dragan Knez Lezaic
• Ylenia Barjuan Pérez
• Ariadna Gotarra Oritz

All four occupy Local Police officer positions in the basic scale, group C, subgroup C1, of the municipal civil servant staff.

Three interim officers to cover six months of service

The appointments of interim civil servant personnel were formalized by resolutions on June 19 and July 9. Resolution RA 598/26, of June 19, covers three officer positions with a service period from June 19 to December 18, 2026:

• Cristina Morgadanes Fernàndez
• Eudald Campos Frías
• Iker Sevilla Fuentes

Resolution RA 716/26, of July 9, appoints Guillem Serret Maresma as an interim civil servant for a longer duration, from July 9, 2026, to January 8, 2027.

A sergeant and other appointments in the same gazette

The same gazette includes another police appointment in the municipality: resolution RA 826/26, of July 24, appoints Óscar Vivas Romero, a career civil servant, as a sergeant of the Local Police, effective July 15, 2025 (CVE 202610139511).

Outside of the police scope, the city council also publishes the appointment of Susana Escolano Martín as an interim administrative official assigned to the Intervention Department, effective from June 23, 2026, until March 22, 2027 (CVE 202610139422).

With these agreements, Santa Susanna reinforces the Local Police staff with seven officers and one sergeant, an operation that arrives months late relative to the recognized effective dates and directly affects the security service in the municipality. The appointments are relevant for candidates and for the force’s personnel, as they consolidate career positions and cover temporary vacancies until early 2027.
