Santa Úrsula puts a plot of land in El Casco up for tender for public parking

The Santa Úrsula City Council has initiated the procurement process for the lease of a plot of land intended for public parking in the center of the municipality, in the area known as El Casco. The decision is formalized through the Mayor-Presidency Resolution No. 1114/2026, dated August 24, 2026, and the announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife number 105, dated September 2, 2026, on page 24793.
The contract is processed via a competitive bidding procedure and its objective is the “lease of a plot of land intended for public parking, in the center area of the municipality of Santa Úrsula,” a service in high demand by residents and visitors of the urban center. The announcement is signed by the acting mayor, José Manuel Amador Gutiérrez, dated August 25, 2026.
Specifications and Exhibition Period
Along with the initiation of the file, the Particular Administrative Clauses Specifications have been approved, which will be available for public inspection for a period of fifteen (15) calendar days, starting from the day following the insertion of the announcement in the official gazette. During this period, interested parties may examine the documentation at the Municipal Secretariat and file any claims they deem appropriate.
- The file documentation is available at the Corporation’s Secretariat, from 8:00 to 14:00 hours.
- The competition is announced simultaneously, although it will be postponed as necessary in the event that claims are filed against the specifications.
Submission of Proposals
Proposals must be submitted in a single sealed envelope, with the designation and contents indicated in the particular administrative clauses specifications. The submission deadline ends at 14:00 hours on the fifteenth calendar day, starting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the B.O.P.
- Offers shall be submitted to the Registry of the Santa Úrsula City Council.
- They may also be submitted through any of the procedures provided for in clause 9 of the specifications.
Contract Duration
The lease will have a duration of four (4) years, as stated in the official announcement. With this tender, the council seeks to address the lack of parking spaces in the center of the municipality, a recurring problem for both residents and those visiting the area for commercial or tourist reasons.
The implementation of this public parking lot in El Casco will provide relief for mobility within the municipality and a boost to the activity of the urban center by facilitating vehicle access to one of the busiest areas of Santa Úrsula.
